Just a note, that I am keeping a list of Pikemen/Fencers/Swordsmen who are willing to help with training of lower levels. There are so few of us, that the training expenses can KILL, especially if you aren't an artisan class as well.

I am also keeping a list of melee friendly weaponsmiths and powerup makers. If you have anyone to add, please let me know.

Send me a /tell in game, or and email. Or you can post a message here (might take me a few to get to it though). If you're on the board, remember to post your in game name, if it is different than your board name. Also, please list the levelsyou're currently at.

Secondly, this is a non-partisan group. We are melees first and foremost. If you are unwilling to help members of the opposite faction, then you wouldn't be a productive member. Sorry.

Actually Ivy, in reviewing my post I could see where the arrangement does seen 'one sided'. Actually, this list will be available to any level-------high, low, medium, that needs training. All someone needs to do is email or /tell me in game, tell me what training they are seeking, and I'll provide them with names of playerswho might be able to train them.

Regarding Melee friendly Weaponsmiths...

Pillshovel is going to get a plug here whether he wants one or not. I contacted him last night to round out my growing Melee collection. I'm currently fighting with only a 2-handed sword and a laser carbine for the cowards that run. He was very accomodating, and took my order to my specifications.

when i placed the order, he DID have Kammris Iron (although only about 200 units of it) to make my Power Hammer. He'll more than likely start charging more and more for Power Hammers if his supply gets lower (i'm paying 20K for mine, but I have the money so it matters little).

Of all the weaponsmiths out there, Pillshovel was the only one i could find who a) would take a special order of melee weapons (Jabs Kam) and b) has the resources to make what I needed.

I'm not sure what to say here. I'm slightly offended that my offer to help has basically been refused, especially when in your original post you said that one way to notify you of my desire to help was to post here, which I did. I don't need training from anyone, I'm just offering to train people if they want to get free training. I didn't have anyone to do this for me and I spent thousands and thousands of my own money on training, so I can see the merit of such an association, hence my post.

I'm very confused as to why my offer is refused. I'm guessing from the earlier post that it's because I'm a Rebel in game and I won't train Imperials. If having some integrity as far as the GCW is a bad thing, I really don't want to be a part of this association anyway. I'm not sure, but I think you may have trouble finding only neutrals or aligned players willing to train their enemies, but I could be wrong. Also, if nobody wants to seek me out for training, hey, that's fine with me, I was only offering to help. Again, I do not understand the logic of turning away someone willing to help, but I will graciously rescind my offer. Best of luck.

Hehehehe I have had pillshovel on my list for quite some time. Several weeks ago he made me a Rykk that was better than any of the major 'smiths. He was willing to go the extra distance, even though he won't make as much money on melee weapons.

I am a Rebel as well. Unlike you however, I don't, in this particular instance, see an US vs THEM. There simply isn't enough of them OR us to draw this line.

This is not, in any way, shape or form, an 'association'. This is just little ole me, volunteering to keep a list of people willing to unselfishly, and without bias, to help other melee. I do not have the time, or inclination, to further subdivide these lists into Rebs vs Imps or this PA and that PA because certain individuals can't put their differences aside for just a brief moment, in order tohelp another 'minority' player.

Oh.. and Ivy? I personally don't see this as an 'integrity' issue. I see it as a 'maturity' one.
