How come the damage output is so low in PVP?
An test i did, snice I'm both TKA and Swordsman really confused me:
My opponent was wearing 80% kin comp
First i equipped my scythe (around 220-330)and did some headhit3 after the armor each hit did about 68 damage
Then i equipped my VK (around 30-190)and did headhit1 after the armor each hit did around 48 damage
How come the difference is so incredibly small?
2hHeadhit3 has a much higher damage modifier than uaheadhit1 and the scythe has AP2 and higher damage
Can someone shed some light on this?

in PVP we and all classes get a 75% reduction in damage , i dont no why they have done this but CM's dont have this they still hit for 100% damage that is why they are so powerful

Im aware of the 75% reduction, but my point is that 2hHeadHit3 does A LOT more damage both theoretically and in PVE, but the difference in PVP is mariginal.
And with the added accurracy of TKA the DPS is much higher.

The 80% kinetic armor really screws us. Hit someone with a powerhammer that is unarmored and you nearly one shot a ranged class.

68 is more but not that much considering that when fighting a fencer with the scythe it will be like
miss
miss
dodge
dodge
dodge
dodge
miss
miss
As where you hit almost all the time with tka. If we are that inaccurate we should at least deal a lot more damage.
Besides just the fact that its AP2 should grant 50% more damage

And if my math is not completely off here the scythe should average 675 damage and the vk should average 275.
With 50% boost for AP2 it should be around 1000 thats 3.5 times as much as the vk and this is resulting in 30% more damage in pvp?
Please help me to understand why it is this way.

The armor is screwing it up! What damage did the armor prevent? Maybe it prevented 300 on one and 100 on the other where 68 got through one time then 48 the next. Get it? You really need to test it on someone with no armor or have your guinea pig tell you what damage was prevented by the armor.

Actually i dont get it, if the armor is 80% resistant vs kinetic it should reduce the damage by the same percent.
And it wasnt just one hit, it was very many hits and the avg damage was the same all the time.
But i will do more testing without armor

Add 250 unarmed damages to your VK damages as TKM (now 280-440).
With mitigation III (if your test dummy was master fencer)
scythe: 220-286
vk: 280-376

You don't get 50% for AP2 against an armored player. Composite is AR 1...so you get +25% (and actually nothing against unarmored player since AP don't work against a foe without resist).
