Its hard to find a good Scythe for a decent price. All the ones I see for sale are about 2 million. I finally got one for 700k and here are the stats. I think they are excellent for the price.

2.9 Speed

255-446 damage

Is it hard finding good ones on other servers?

i got two baseline scythes for 600k on sunrunner the other day. they suck but i got a decent speed slice on one and a kickass damage slice on the other so at least theyre usable

Definately an excellent sword. Mine's 248-432 2.7, cost 600k iirc

A very good scythe. Baseline ones are generally around 179-317 2.7s or so.

Speed, accuracy and there are times where a job will have a higher blast resist then a kinetic resist.

Also, with melee damage mitigation in PvP the scythe comes out on top usually.

True, but most of us just want the best thing for the job.

All depends on what you can afford.

When I hot nov. swordsman I had enough combat xp for the first 3 boxes so I could get a scythe. Bought one, sliced it to 1.7 speed, made leveling so damn easy.

You dont really want to grind with a PH because of the slow speed.

ahh ok, but what if you got a speed slice on a ph would that then be good for grinding with?
