Why ?

Well its pretty basic: You are in a group with 10 people in it. You take a 30k mis.

Result each get 3k out of it.

Another scenario: You go to the terminal pull out a 6k mission, you do it solo, you get 6k out of it.

See my drift ? Which mission would you prefer to take ? The one in a group ? or the one solo ?

So has this nerf changed anything ?

Answer: No!

Now they can lower the payout on all missions you are able to get solo. The result will be ?

The starting out noob will have a hell of a time ever getting anywhere in this game.

So how exactly does this change what we have today ?

The thing I for see is the people with huge amounts of creds today, will become even richer after this nerf if they sit it out.

Now has this changed anything ? No! The rich gets richers, the poor become even poorer.

This is in no way a well thought out plan by soe. And does in no way at all help anybody.

The architects will go out of business, cause who will ever want to be one ? It takes TONS of ressources to make the big stuff = it takes a huge amount of creds, to get them, and for what ? the price calculation is that each ressource costs 1.5 creds, now a guild hall takes 100000 ressources to make, you do the math. Who is gonna buy it ? A swoop costs a big amount of ressources to make, you do the math.

Where am I heading ? Well if soe has thought about this at all, which it seems they havent, they have overlooked so many things that this will effect that i get Dizzy just by thinking about it. All the regular prices where soe has their income needs to be nerfed aswell, just think of it, you swoop decayes rapidly when you use it, a lot of times ive repaired it for 6k, now put that 6k in correlation to the 3k youll get by hunting jantas ?

Thats 2! missions just to pay for repairs!

A lot of professions will be banged hard by this: Entertainers for instance! Who in their right mind will ever tip an entertainer anything over 100 creds ? When this comes into effect.

Who will ever wear comp anymore ? Except those who have millions today and can afford it. It takes so much of stuff to even make a comp armour, and who will provide it ? A krayt weapon will become rare, cause who besides the "We Love the jedi - soe" will be able to hunt them ? 'Jedi ? Yup! Forget about soloing one as a swordsman. the price of your comp alone will be able to drain your purse if you fail once that you wont be able to do it again. Soloing an Elder ? Nope! forget that the chance of you not getting anything except 3k of creds for your effort can soon prove too big a risk to ever do it.

Yeah but we can do it in groups! Well tell me how many people will be willing to die and have their stuff decay from cloneing and not have anything to show for it afterwards ? I mean only one can loot an elder or a krayt. The rest will get the stick.

So all those things that I know my fellow swordsmen have been enjoying is Gone! Poof up in smoke!

So whats left for us then ? Forget the corvette. The shots you take up there, alone will decay your wallet quick, and you can again stand there with nothing to show for it.

I know how it used to be in the "old" days, when people would team up for missions, but those days are gone. Its a new breed of players out there. People want to have fun, its a game! Takeing away what people finds fun to do is a bad decision. I think soe has again showed us that they are totally uncapable to think even remotely of the consequenses of their actions.

This nerf brings with it so many issues, that i bet they havent even forseen that the cancellation office will have their hands full, I just hope they hire more help cause they will need it!

Soe in a nutshell when building a damm: "oops we dont like how this is turning out, lets put a piece of gum in that crack"

"Oops now theres another hole in the damn"

"Dont worry ive got lots of gum"

"and another hole, and another piece of gum" and so the story continues untill the whole damm is built by gum and finally collapses and drowns everyone.

What im lacking from soe is foresight, instead of keep on repairing whats broken with stuff thats only temporary, why not simply call it quits, say Im sorry but it seems like weve made so many mistakes with this game that we've come to the conclusion that it is unfixable.

You make good points, but you have flaws.

I didn't start the janta/mokk missions until three months ago. Before that I did Giant Baz in full 80% comp, which I was able to buy from doing the missions. Full suit is what, 150k-200k? Thats 15-20 Giant Baz missions.
