Swordsman Archive
Thread: Well, since we're supposed to be getting new weapons...
I want to see an item that is like a pair of gloves, only a pair of swords. That way we can hold two swords at once and just look totally bad-ass when we fight. New animations would be real nice too. I mean as swordsman, we have the greatest variety in weapons(next to maybe the commando)from swords to axes to cleavers to scythes(HA!)to hammers all under one profession, so how about this one? I'd love to wield two swords at once and just chop everything up. Just a thought.
Oh, and is anyone else tired of poking lairs with a hammer? I'm trying to blow this thing up, not test for soft spots.
Unless your playing a trando or a wookie with strength maxed, it's not a viable form of combat.
first off if you've ever played EverQuest some classes could duel wield two 30 lbs+ swords, so counting that this is star wars, i'd not be suprised if they could duel with two 15 lbs. not even. and did you ever play Knights of the old Rep.? you dueled with two katana like swords, (i said katana like not katana for all you who try to blame someone) it would be awesome if they let us duel two swords, i mean we use both hands it would make perfect sense. and on the note of 2 handed weapons where can i find myself a nice syth? no one seems to know...
People say that Swordsman's should have two swords...
fencing is a 1 handed art form
Dual weilding is a 2 handed art form, but i would think it would be 50% less damaging
I'd rather not see us with dual swords. Why? Because we are HEAVY swordsman. My idea of a heavy swordsman is using a weapon that is bigger than we are. We are trained to wield the biggest, baddest meanest looking melee weapons in the galaxy and two sissy swords isn't my idea of intimidating.
My unlimate dream is to see my wookie wielding a Sythe just like in Interview with a Vampire...
You're fighting a noble arguement, geth, but the cool thing about fantasy is that you can bend physics. ![]()
Call them hollow swords made of a rare metal which is both lite and difficult to bend.
And Shin, its called a wakazashi, and you'd never see a master go to it unless his sword were broken in the battle.
All the idget sca'rs and such. speaking of ren. faires, TRF opens this weekend. I'll be there all weekend. Look for the bald guy thats with the Bard O'Neil.
