I bought my power hammer this weekend for 5K. The original attack speed was 8.0! I got it spliced down to 6.9. Is that good? It does awesome damage (1000-1800) when I use it. But if I miss, forget about it. Can anyone offer suggestions on where to get a faster hammer? I play on Radiant.

Also, I am a trandoshan. Should I get armor, and if so, what type? Thanks everyone.

Yeah 8 is pretty bad. Most of the ones I have seen are 6-ish (pre-slice). Mine is 6.1, 92-520 post damage slice.

Mine is 6.0 with a damage of 117-527 post slice.

Got a PH with 5.9 attack speed. At master techniques it swings a tiny bit faster than once every two seconds.

I had one made by a master weaponsmith.

98-416 6.0 speed (4.5 speed after sliced)

These are awesome when your reaching master swordsman and have atleast +65 speed.

mine is 6.0 speed with 94-420 damage pre sliced.....but i seem to do less damage with it then with my 2h curved which is half the attack :/

you will do more damage with your curved, but you can do more specials with power hammer (low mind usage).
Low speed and high misses make power hammer very bad decision for low-lev swordsman, but you will learn to love it later.

True its not for novices. I bought one for 12k and sliced for 3k and its sitting in my closet. (5.9- 53-450 something.. sunrunner is a bit behind)

I only use my power hammer (sliced for damage at over 500 max damage, 6.0 speed) for mind bleeding.

When you stack two of those on something then go back to the sword (for me I prefer an under 3 second weapon so I can have ample opportunity to heal - Master Surgeon too) you will drop just about anything, including an AT-ST (though obviously with these you get one or two bleeds off and then die, but the thing will still drop a minute later).

Perhaps at master swords (one block away) I'll find more use for the power hammer but for now it's just useful to me for the bleeds where I can stack a 2500/tick and a 2000/tick mind bleed on something to ensure it's demise even if I die.

ive been using it in the same way but no bleeds(cause i battle my friends pets and hes to lazy to buy pt stims) ill sit and mind hit it a few times for high damage then go back to the sword and win.....i took on his mid sized grual and won that way today :/
