Thread: Defenses Cap?

as far as i know you can add AA/CA for an extra +25. Making the cap on skills + attachements =150.


Not sure though can anyone confirm this?!?

Yep, defenses from professions and so on cap on 125, but you can increase that with SEA's up to +25 (150).

I read someone mentioning that Melee/Ranged Defense cap at a certain point. Is there a point where a higher number ceases to give any real results? And if so what is that number? Is it the same for both?

125 both. There's some foods/drinks which can add an aditional 25, but that's the final limit.

well this is just easier than covering our forum with more questions on speed cap or defense cap by starting a whole new thread, so here it is...
what does Block/Counterattack/dodge/acuity cap at? 200?

you my friend, are a smart person. thank you for not making a new post on a subject that has come up maybe 5 trillion times lol.


as for the question, dodge/block/ and counterattack all cap at 125. This cant be increased by food since there is no counterattack food, and sea's wont raise it past 125 either.

125 is cap, plus +25 for tapes, then plus whatever for food. This is for dodge,counter-attack, block, melee and ranged defense.

Just for the complete picture, that dodge food will take you beyond the 125 cap, I can't remember if it also puts you over 150, but it doesn't matter, you can't eat half a pie/cake anyway

and that's for all defenses, just to clarify. They hardcapped them all the same way.

Nope, attachments put you over 125 and I think Squad Leader adds to that.

This true 125 is the actual skill capped before modification.

so you can have 125 in skill +25 in SEA + 25 (wasnt it 25?) = actual total
