just a warning to anyone shopping for ca's. If the ca is stacked with another mod that is higher the lower stat WILLNOT get applied. i just spent 3 million credits on two ca's

ca#1 +6 clothing experimentation / +4 two handed melee speed

ca#2 +5 grenade assembly / +3 two handed melee speed

so i'm stoked thinking i just got two great ca's and will have a nice +7 melee speed boost. i apply the ca's to my +16 Intim/warcry shirt and have a look at my new shirts stats and what did i see?

+6 modification clothing experimentation

+5 grenade assembly

+16 intimidation

+16 warcry

I'm couldn't beleive it no melee mods? what happened? I submit a open ticket and after browsing a few other tickets people have submitted learn that not only will the lower stat on the ca most likelly NOT get applied but that two ca's with the same stats DO NOT stack on the same garment.

warning to anyone else that might be thinking of doing the same or contemplating buying any ca's. Hope i save you some credits from my mistake.

If you didnt know about the bug why would you expect the mods not to stick? It says it gives both mods so you would expect it to. The only way around it would have been to put an item with a mod higher than the grenade assembly into the clothing and then put your grenade assembly/2h speed tape in, the speed would stuck then.

you got to be serious? what a f'ing stupid response. so now im supposed to read every f'ing post in every forum and all the information i can so i may be prepared for all possible occurances. i dont f'ing have time to prepare myself for a game. i expect if i see something that says i will get X-mod then i will get the modification. i have been playing this game for 6 months and no i havn't heard about the problem. why the hell they would put multiple mods on something they know will not work and possibly lead to this type of situation absolutelly makes no sense. this is a game i play for entertainment and relaxation...not to get pissed off and frustrated with.

yeah i agree. sounds like it would have worked but why would the developers let this type of situation be possible in the first place? this is just another annoying problem that pisses players off to the point they no longer want to play the game.

Another good question is: Why do the developers have SEA's with mods that don't work?

Simple answer: SEAs have not been operating correctly since launch, and they haven't fixed them, because of other "blaring" bugs in the game.

Well the forums have a search function, and there are a several informitive guides on this subject, so it really wouldnt have taken too long to find an answer. This issue has be like this since the game launched people have learned to addapt to it, maybe with the CU things might get fixed. And if you are leaving the game because of this oh well.

When purchasing any AA or CA with mods the higher of the 2 will stick

ex. CA warcry +13, 2h meele accuracy + 10

the warcry +13 will stick since it is the higher out of the 2 mods.

Now when applying them to this there is also rules

AA 2h speed +3

AA 2h speed +8

If you put these in the same item like a non decay mabari belt THEY WONT STACK

Depending on wich one you place first the effects are different. You will get 2results one being that the higher mod will take over orthey will negate them selfves and you will beb screwed. So only put one of the same type of mods on a specific item.
