Im listening/reading but so far I havent anything to add since I can not test anything on TC.
I had some questions regarding calledshot and its effect as well use read them here.
If you can report anything or test anything regarding that I would be realy greatfull since I cannot see the advantage of using this ability yet.
Further:, this is taken from the old Squad Leader FAQ from CaptainVemnox, maybe this works for the new abilities as well:
- I have seen Squad Leaders shouting commands a lot. Why is that?
Many Squad Leaders enjoy role-playing their class. We are professional soldiers leading the way into battle so why not act like it. With the use of the /set command, you can add text to your skills.
- /set%C %text
Where %C = command and %text + pharse
- /setsteadyaim Hold your targets.
This command will have your character say "Hold your targets." when you use the /steadyaim command. Try to be original but also try not to be vulgar in your use of this command.

i really liked charge as well. it seems the devs took our ideas about this ability and made it into reality, really nice.
as far as retreat goes, i agree with dreven to some extent. it is a instant group clone button if your crew is not prepared to bolt. i forsee me making a /sys macro that hits about 7 seconds before executing the move to the effect of "prepare to retreat!" to give everyone time to get the max health bar they can. it seems to be even faster than any burst run currently in game (+ to terrain neg?) and in a test situation in pve it worked great, we were out of the heat of the brutal nyms patrol before they could fire off two shots at us. (and those guys are nuts on tc right now spamming specials) gonna have to test it side by side against the other burst run options and figure it out. but i was amazed that i could put myself in a situation where it actually worked, i was very skeptical.
another thing i liked was applying the spacial shouts to other moves that previously didn't have them. some funny stuff too. Booya! is one . which reminded me to ask this question.
is there a way currently to remove these spacial shouts in their entirety? sometimes i do not like to advertise my leadership status. even volleyfire has one now. i think they are fun, but i'd like to get rid of them when they get annoying. anyone know anything about this?

it seems that /sys is the only ability tied to gl atm. i was glad to find two msl could not stack paint target.
this post is the only time i will conceed there are cool possibilities with two sl in the group. i am totally against this, but...
with two, we were able to do some nifty things, like he could apply formup and i could charge! i don't know if this was intended but then i can use my personal burst run and out run a speeder bike. with no tn in scout. it was the fastest i'd seen anything move on the ground in the game. stacking paint and call target was devistating when combined with the other buffs two msl can provide. it was fun to work together to get this rythem going. it will have to be worked out ahead of time who is doing what in that dept. further testing needs to be done, i fear that call target is stackable by 8 group memebers, i think this might be bad in combo with paint.
so knowing that the devs probally wont listen to the community about this, i figure its gonna go live this way. and here is the only consolation i can offer you guys. i have a feeling even with the uber buffs a 8 man sl team could provide i still think a well organized group can beat them down hard, they are just too much cannon fodder. now the 4 man group with the 4 mls mdef, thats a whole nother story. what we should be most concerned with now, and things that can just NOT GO LIVEis the fact that i can:
1- buff from other planets
2- buff people outside my group
3- buff people and when they leave the group the buff sticks.
there are lots of other little game breakers in there, but if those three aren't changed our proffesion is screwed.
forgot to add this:
this is just a funny side note. you will enjoy the first month of this patch, watching unsuspecting group members completely flip out when you pull a retreat on them. it does what it says (empties both action and mind pools W/ dramatic decrease to regen of both) to an unsuspecting group of entertainers and or noobs. they really don't know what to think. spacial looks something like this:
