we need current msl on tc. i know that some are working on it, it seems some of the others there haven't been sl since pre cu, they really don't know how it works currently so things aren't getting tested as much as tried if you know what i mean. when i first figured out i could buff someone outside the group, i said in spacial "uhh i can buff you out of my group?"
the response was "COOOL" not a good sign.

As it stands tho, I've got plenty to keep me busy on live. I'm not gonna grind a n00b out on TC with my 2 hours a day playtime. I'ld hit Novice SL right as they pushed it to live.
I just remembered that /sys is still only working in the group if you are group leader, and when I remember right, there are some more skills too still tied to the groupleader ship.
Can you find out which ones those were and make a list of those?
My guess is, that it are the old ones, which got converted.
A lot of new squad leaders might get confused why some of their abilities wont work when they are grouped and not groupleader, since the orignial announcements said you dont need to be groupleader anymore at all.
As I currently see no reaction from the DEVs at all, rather than just starting two additional in focus threads, I fear we have to take whats on TC now as it is.
We ll have to be prepared to have answeres for the new breed of squad leaders, why somethings are the way they are, with or without the help of the DEVs.

And yes now after the fog has cleared with this ongoing SL - GL - multi SL pre group and Keldarin has posted his reasons for this change these 3 issues, which I hope are just bugs should never hit live otherwise SL will be messed up and exploited a lot till before they can hotfix it (and then probadly/possibley nerf it to uselessness).
Bug it as often as you can maybe post it also in the issues and bug thread to get the DEVs attention to this.
As essential the previous discussion is/was for the direction of the SL revamp, this is a serious flaw/bug in the game mechanics of the SL abilities.

yes i can apply the individual buffs to people outside of my group
if it was intended, the rational is probally the whole "you can be under the influence of a squadleader if your in his area" type thing we like

NOTE!!! in each box there is a skill mod called "stat_n:[calledShot]" - none is granted at novice, +5 with each level I and level II box, +10 in level III boxes, and +15 in all level IV boxes. master squad leader grants you +35 to this awesome stat_n:[calledShot] ability.

so, after yesterdays annoucements, i decided to log in to tc and mirror my character to my live toon. msl mdoc novCM, suddenly and too my shock, the tag above my head suddenly changed from master squadleader....
to Master Jedi Sidekick !!!
