Thread: getting exp is impossible..

Well I read my holo and it says SL. I think...NP, I see and participate in group hunts all the time...


Wrong...No one will let me be the group leader. I try to form a group but no one will goin because they want to join a big group.


I say this sucks.. If I cant be the group leader then why cant I get exp. for just being in a group.


Its been 1 week now and I still have 0 EXP.!!!!!

Nah... Just start your own hunting group mate...
I got 2 million SL xp in 2 days.

I tried that and peps say..."how many in your group?"


my answer "0"so far.. then they say "sorry i'm looking for a bigger group" or "I want to start now so i'll join a group going out right now"


to all those people I now say "blaa blaa blaa bad word blaa"

not to mention that I need to get rid of all my sliced armor and weapons if I dont get it befor the patch.

If you just stand in Coronet spamming that ur starting a hunting group, people will come and say LOOKING FOR GROUP and such, and u just invite them Get 10-12 people and you´ll be raking that xp in like you never believed.

I was out with a group of seven people from my guild and capped my SL xp at 900k from 125k in less than 45 minutes.


Squad Leader is not the profession of soloists.

Go to dantooine and start a group, it may take a little time to get a big one together, but you'll get crazy exp. It always worked for me. Or go to normal places and get whatever group you can, the experience comes easy. And ...um you gotta be leader to get exp cause it's called Squad Leader.

Another good place to go is Fort Tusken on Tatooine. Not quite as much exp as Dant. or Endor or the hard planets, but still good. It's not quite as dangerous with all the people running around there and it doesn't cost a lot to travel there.


Go around and invite people that aren't in groups, pretty soon you'll be getting the exp flowing. Do it quick, the changes are coming that will cut exp in half.

I made Master in 3 days.


The hardest part was finding a trainer.


I went to Ft. Tusken during prime hours. I'd ask someone who their group leader was, then send that person a tell: "Hi, I'm working on Squad Leader, and would really appreciate it if I could join and lead your group."


The only time I was refused, was if someone was a squad leader, or the group was full. People were very helpful.


If I couldn't join an already formed group, I'd invite people as they showed up. The key was getting a couple medics, people stay longer when they live.


Making Master took me 6 hours of combat time, plus another 4 looking for trainers.

Have you thought about scheduling a hunt with your PA members? I noticed you have a PA listed under your name. That is where I got my SL EXP. I lead hunts for my PA and they were more than happy to let me be group leader. Heck, now they always want me as group leader! Pickup groups are usually The Suck in my opinion. Grouping with friends and PA members is 10 times more fun.
