A lot of SL love the Comissar title. The title does have a lot of bad political and historical connotations to it. If it were to change, what would be more appropriate/even cooler to replace it.

The Poll therefore

A) Keep it you moron

B) (Fill in the blank with cool title.)

Please respond as soon as possible. The Devs are looking at titles and this one came up as a possible change. So weigh in extremely soon, most especially if you want to keep it. Abstention doesn't help your cause.

Instead of Tactician why not "Tactical Officer"

Maybe instead of Commissar...it could be...

Logistical Officer? (kinda dorky tho)

or why not Staff Officer

Commisar is fine with me. I actually like it. the thought of gunning down squad members who show signs of cowardace rocks

I say keep it the way it is but agree with changing Tactician to Tactical Officer.

Its fine.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. And heck the devs could do something hellova lot more useful than changing a title

"Field Commander" might me appropriate here... And change the Mobility line to "Logistics Specialist" or something more relating to moving.

So far it seems pretty much everyone wants to keep it as is. Anyone out there for changing it? (and FYI there is a Dev working on cleaning up titles right now so if there is a time for a change its now, not later. Also, Comissar is the title he's looking at because I brought up its historical connotations. i.e. Soviet soldiers who killed their own troops if they attempted to flee combat.) But if we want to keep it we keep it.

I think we should change it. Make "Master Squad Leader" something cool like "Field Marshal" or "General". Make "Commissar" into "Field Commander" and change the mobility title to "Logistics Officer" or something like that.

Master Squad Leader sounds kinda dorky to me, and so does Commissar.
