I carried out some testing with my Master Rifleman/Master Pistoleer with a master squad leader.
The squad leader buffed me with "Blaze of glory" and "High Yield", i then drank deut-pyro (+216 accuracy). My target was a fully templated jedi, using a damage capped advanced laser rifle puped to 696-1351 i went prone and hit with advanced sniper shot, this hit the target for a possible 8811 damage of which 4680 points of damage was absorbed by armour leaving the remaining 4131 point of damage to 1 hit incap
Thank you for the accurate description, this is way morehelpful thansome vague "i saw soooo much damage" postings which are lately flooding our forum.
I very much hope that the cryers and whilers turning up soon manage to recognize that these damage values are made with a combination of people and requires more skillpoints than a single player hasavailable. This means that the MBH comming for you will _not_ be able to use this combination of attacks on you while you sit there, look at the sky and wonder why you are marked for attack and have no idea of what could happen in the near future...
Otherwhise it would still be interesting to know, as Blaze of Glory has a random, was is a critical hit where you got those damage numbers or was it a regular attack?

Sorry i didnt make note of whether it was a critical hit or not, however, if you refer back to my original post the 2nd test hit for about 2k less, i assumed this was down to not drinking deut-pyro but may well be in fact that the 1st shot may have been a critical hit.
I assume your statement is true, i just would have had it confirmed that it was critical to be sure... from all i know, deuterium pro can't give an increase so big as in this case, but as there's never a total guarantee that you didn't just find another glitch/feature of abilities, it would have been "saver" to confirm that it was a critical.

And so since this is being done , Have they just simply done the easy fix of killing both buffs if enganed in a BH vs Jedi Mark? --
This would fix any issues and leave all the power and strength to the SL's... it would not hurt anyone and make things much easier fast.
I mean there has to be a easy way to fix this. OR you can't take a player misson while buffed or somthing... No need to pull SL in this at all. Let them keep the revamp as is and just make it so you cannot player bounty/exploit the advantage.
I mean lets face it... I dont roll around at 4k plus health all the time-- NOR should anyone in the game be one shot incapped and killed... it's just stupid. If this is the case then Sabers should do that as well and we can just have a free for all on this...

A single BH/SL isn't all that threatening, one came for me tonight but he missed his first shot with called shot and I beat him down and deathblowed him but he came back 15 minutes later once again with my mission and brought along 2 people that both buffed him with volley fire, blaze of glory and high yield and did an average of over 2400 points of damage every shot and once 2900 and I was unable to keep up with healing. Bounty hunters WILL play tag team with squadleaders if they have some in guild or will pay for the service, the BH/Jedi TEF needs to disable SL buffs such as what I explained of what happened tonight.
/agree...
as we've stated what feels like a million times now TEF ought to kill SL buffs. I don't think there's hardly a SL on these forums that would argue that. With the exception of a few (notably a few BH/SL) that want these sorts of combo to take advantage of the current situation, i would say the entire community dislikes the idea of having a group-based profession become the main focus for a solo-style profession.
Hate to say it, but it feels like we're beating a dead horse at this point, too bad some people still don't realize that.
