what a thread to create, it would be understandable if you posted it in another forum but after ignoring us since and during beta AND all the proffession update posts by captain vem you come and ask for 5 problems with the profession jesus H christ.
Lets see how I would put top 5 issues.....hmmmmmm
1. The profession is broken
2. The devs have ignored it since beta
3. XP is far to easy
4. The SKills are all useless anyone with macros can recreate them effectivly
5. You only want to fix 5 issues with SL???
or maybe like this
1. Skill tree one is useless and not worth the skill points required
2. Skill tree two is useless and not with the skill points required
3. Skill tree three is useless and not worth the skill points required (except for the comissar title)
4. Skill treefour is useless and not worth the skill points required
5. All the useless abilities we spend over half our skill points to get are useless and most dont work properly.
WELL at least it's good to know that you have been reading all the previous reports and wot not captain vem has been sending. At this rate ofhelping the profession we can see a 'okay we will look into the issues' post another 6 months down the line....or maybe a sorry we cant fix issues to a core profession because we want to make more money by working on the space expansion now.
well hope that helps, and yes im being serious and and not funny or sarcastic - just honest.

Isay keep it the way it is........ But promise if space expansion comes out it will have the most kick ass advantage then any of the current classes.
Or how bout...
I would have liked my squad leader automaticly knowing where EVERYONES mission is that way he can just lead us right to it in an orderly fashion.

In a city the squadleader should negate the bonus of city defenders by having the same bonus applied to him and anyone in his group in a city. It can be a passive urban combat leadership maybe in the master slot.

Get rid of volley fire, its depressing. How bout like a covering fire command that bites off a chunk of ham but makes everyones next shots perform a low posture or KD ect.
OR
GIVE the commander a direction were a single target is made more vunrerable. FOR EXAMPLE: there is target A, B, C, I do a KD vunrability command to a target B. Next shot that lands on target B from anyone in the squad will result in a KD. Of course you can have a tree full of effects like stun, dizzy ,knockdown, bleed. This improvement wouldnot make the squad leader any more stronger then how combat classes already are.
Another version of the same thing is assign the special attack to an ally. so i can click on ally X and power his next attack with a bleed.
this kind of specials would make a squadleader more leader like. Where his specials flow thru his squad.
It doesnt make him directly stronger then any of the combat classes. But his advantage is in spreading out his orders on others.
It could be worked out in a tree. novice SL- stun order (just think of thestormtooper saying set your guns to stun) next skill level maybe a blind, then dizzy, the posture, then kd in the master slot.
I do like the idea of allowing the SL the abilitiesof faction recruiter. Would allow for faction affiliation andfield promotions. /group overt and /group covert commands could be fairly useful in PVP to get a squad safely to an objective or mounting a sneak raid (going covert only if the group is without a TEF). Perhaps a SL's group gets a reduction on the TEF length or something.
Wasted on the "neutral" squad leader, but soldiers *should* be fighting for one cause or the other, yeah? ![]()
1.- Give something between 2% and 10% more XP and/or Faction Points to the people who groups with us.
2.- Get us a /cancelRally command, or something like that, so people do not need to wait after a battle to harvest/do anything.
3.- Give us a /paintTarget command.
4.- Let us make "subgroups" with the people in our group to be able to cast our commands on some of them and not all
5.- Show better to the players the increases we are giving them (maybe put an icon in the "player status window" in the top left of the screen that would show detailed info if you leave the mouse over it, or show them a sysmessage when they group... etc. That way players will know we are having an effect on them.
Oh, and one more. This one is the best one. With this one, everybody will want to group with us:
Tell everybody that when they group with a Squad Leader, they have a 0.001 % more chance to get a holocron from the corpses (even if its not true) ![]()
