oh....ok


I don't see the skill mods on my skills window anymore....but when i wear clothing/armor with the volley fire mod attached, it shows up as +10... for example...


?

99% sure it falls into the same cathegory like "carbine accuracy while moving" or "pistol accuracy while standing" section.


Those also are still listed if you use a CA like that but seem to do nothing at all any more. (Even before CU, those were discussable.)


The modifiers for Volley Fire and Steady Aim were present in our skillboxes before the revamp, but even then testing showed that they did nothing at all. I dare to assume that now, with them even gone from the skillboxes, they won't do any more, either. Anyways, as nobody knows, why don't you test yourself? It's easy enough:



  • Get a mission on animals of the same level as you are.

  • Don't wear your skill enhancement clothes.

  • Use a weapon which is not critical sliced.

  • Activate Steady Aim, shoot at a target with ranged shot, note down how much damage you did.

  • Activate Volley Fire, shoot at a target with ranged shot, note down how much damage you did.

  • Wear your skill enhancement clothes.

  • Activate Steady Aim, shoot at a target with ranged shot, note down how much damage you did.

  • Activate Volley Fire, shoot at a target with ranged shot, note down how much damage you did.´

If the numbers are the same, the CAs do nothing. While i already now expect the numbers to be the same and the CAs to be worthless, i would appreciate it, if somebody would do the testing. (It's pretty low priority compared to some other things, but those require a bit more of coordination for testing than this one... while this one requires an SL whohas appropriate CAs available.)

I helped a guildmate grind CH earlier tonight. I could see the group buffs applied to his pets and apply individual buffs to the pets as well. They worked like a charm for his lower lvl critters, especially combat feint.

My concern is Retreat as of the last reset on saturday, I mistakenly tapped this button and litterally incapped my spingroup.... Each groupmember's Mind and action dropped to 0, with burst run.. having this bug continue, will create alot of griefing.... BH/SL at the right/wrong moment hits it. Kills everyone's mind and action.. then can kill a jedi they have a mark on. Plenty of other things they can think up if you put your mind to it...


This happened on Naboo, Shadowfire. I"ll need to try it again to make sure it wasn't just a patch day glitch...



Should Retreat drain the whole group, or just the SL like it was doing prior to Revamp?
