Thread: Nerf SL xp NOW! {petition}
First time I visit this forum. I just wanted to see what goes on in here, since I don't see many SL walking around these days.
Anyway Wystery is right. I'm a holo grinder myself, and I've mastered many professions in 1-3 days. Did I feel like I really accomplished anything? Nope. You can master all of the professions you want as quickly as you want, but that doesn't make you knowledgeable in that profession. The true masters of the profession are the ones you learned on their way up.
If that makes any sense. ![]()
So I say, whether they cut your XP in half, by 25%, or keep it the same, that doesn't mean anything to the people who really want tolearn what this profession is all about. They're not in it to quickly snag that master title, they want to truly deserve it.
ya but like squad leader was first you spend 2 weeks to get 1 skill box and you realy had the feeling you did lot of hard work for it
these days you can get the master box in 1 day and you dont got the feeling you did a lot hard work for it ...
thats what i am trying to say
not if you are a treu master or not whit the master titel

SL is a profession that takes 64 skill points out of your measly 250, not counting pre-reqs you may not want as a melee fighter. The benefits of the profession only apply to you when you're grouped. You're better off getting other professions instead, there's always a combo that doesnt have the benefits you'd never use anyway, and much better versions of the other benefits. I think it's only fair to get quick XP as a reward for spending your precious skillpoints in a selfless manner.
um what melee skills does it need? i coulda sworn it was ranged support and wilderness survival

Please note that GTOfire says "SL is a profession that takes 64 skill points out of your measly 250, not counting pre-reqs you may not want as a melee fighter." He is not saying squad leader requires melee skills, he is saying thatsomeone who wants to be a melee fighter/squad leader must spend points on marksman skills (specifically the ranged weapon support line) to get squad leader even though they cannot/will not use the skills gained by picking up this line when they fight as a melee character.
Please note that I am not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with GTO's point, I just thought I'd attempt to clear up this apparent miscommunication.
