Brynn, if you just make a new alias over an old one it overwrites it and sets it to what you just told it to.

I gotta say that this knowledge has been the most useful stuff to me as a squad leader. Now all of my commands are color coded (green means go, red means stop, orange is targets, blue is info, etc) I have easy to remember aliases for use outside fo macros, and my team always watches for commands and listens to instructions. Ever since I've implmented this system, I'm able to give orders to my team so quickly that even if someone does something that used to get everyone killed, I can quickly get the situation under control.

Thank you a thousand times for this information.

Man I just cannot get this to work.

Im having the same problem others are. The \ disappears and the hex number I type in afterward is not visable either.

I go ahead and type it out like its supposed to go, but its simply not working. Anyone figure this out yet? Im putting the spaces in the proper places and everything.

OK, I figured it out!

For those of you having trouble, do as everyone above has suggested. Even though you dont see what youre typing, type "/alias rr /sys \#ff0000\"

Now at this point, if you type /rr blah blah, it wont work.

To get it to work, the part that I was missing and I thinkthose still having trouble with ittoo, you have to doubleclick your macro icon. Then you will get the message that your alias is set. Then youre all set! Works like a charm! I LOVE it!

/alias rr /sys '\#ff0000\'

/rr whatever you want to type

I don't see why this is so hard
