Thread: Well, I suppose I feel the need to say something ...
Well its been more then 2 years but I have to say FINALLY
. I've waited for so long and although this has work to do, i'm glad it finally arrived.
Now the devs need to :
Fix the broken icons
Make us able to set rallypoint message (I want to be able to say Move out, attack here!) and to change that damn pink colour.
Leadership skill mod - Fix this so we have a power progression for the profession, this mod should effect every buff except called shot, form up, charge and retreat. Limiting the power of dabblers will help and reduce a possible massive nerf swing.
BH/Jedi issue - Still remains, an easy fix would be to make it so an SL cannot use any of the buffs unless they group with someone or a pet. The second a BH engages a jedi any buffs from an SL would be dropped.
Switch 2nd chance and Blaze of Glory - Haven't tested if 2nd chance work but i'm going to soon.
Do that and I don't see a problem with this SL revamp.

cubby was sl way way back in the day and ane has now travelled the same path since cubby took the route of the jedi....
never really posted in here so good to meet you all
first impressions and some questions after using my buffs in limited combat witha small group ..some of this you prob know but deal with me im noob here
applying of buffs follows the healer faction status pattern ( thus no on leave sl's running with sf folks ..thats a good thing )
some of the buffs dont list any modifyers they simply state " increases damge out put " whats up with this ? were going to go do some duel before /after testing now
also one thing i really really dont like ..all the buff timers are linked ..thus i cant give one person in my group a dmg buff and then turn around and give another person an armor buff because i just gave a buff to person a ..why is this ? docs have np doing this why is it an issue for sl's ?
anyways good to be here and also good to have sl actually seem like a viable profession ![]()

If they installed SWG on my work comp, I'd never get anything done.. oh wait... Nah, I live 5 minutes from work and go home over lunch most days.

1) You are correct, follows the same rules of SF / Combatant / Neutral
2) Yeah, some of the descriptions are fairly vague, more testing is needed to determine the exact effect and if it is related to the Leadership mod.
3) You are talking about individual buffs? That was the dev way of making it so we can only apply one at a time, they could have made it so if you apply a second the first expires but well, they didn't. Rule of thumb, 1 SL = 1 group buff and 1 individual buff. That is how they're aiming the balance of our prof to open us up to more players.
