Background infofor questions1 & 2: It costs 135 of our 250 skill points to master Squad Leader. It costs 92 to master Teras Kasi (dizzy/kd), Pikeman (area kd), or any other combat class with a single prerequisite line.


1: When will we be able to add more value to our group than yetanother combat class?


2: What value will we be able to add, to make it worth the points?


3: Why must our skills cost so much HAM?


Background observation for question 4: Skills in combat sometimes fail, because they're being opposed by the enemy. Skills that are welcome wouldn't be opposed, and thus should be unlikely to fail.


4: Why is SL skill failure even possible? It would seem that a maximum range for our presence would be a more realistic option, with our magnificent presence increasing in radius (typed radiance the first time) with more skills.


5: Why do some SL skills interfere with other people's abilities? When I announce that I'm a Squad Leader, people specifically request no /rally, and of course I don't use it.


6: It seems that a leader is a good leader, when he brings out the best in his people. Would it be appropriate if our passive bonuses worked as an additive to thosealready posessed by ourgroup members? This would keep characters from gaining bonuses in areas they don't already have, but would accentuate the bonuses they already do have. Presumably, SL passive bonuses would be the only profession-based bonuses tha would stack, after the no-stacking fix goes in.


7: 135 points is a lot to sit on while waiting. When can we expect the big Squad Leader revision to roll out?


8: Can we expect to see some factional rewards or functions as a Squad Leader?


9: Is there any intent to create a relationship between Squad Leader and faction rank? (I'm acorporal, but as an MSL I take charge of Colonels, Majors, and everybody else)


10:A Squad Leader could be imagined as the senior warfare veteran... a worldwise, seen-it-all Sarge stereotype. Would it be appropriate for us to get some toughness bonuses, or some special tatoos we can get while "in the service", or, especially, for our group bonuses to work on us while ungrouped.


11: (Yes, I'm cheating) Can we have some way for group members to see what bonuses we're adding to them, so that our value can be honestly evaluated?

No word from him at all. The pistoleer corr disappeared about the same time so perhaps TH is hunting them down, like Vader with the Jedi.

1. When will SL get any attention?

2. Why is the space expansion being worked on when SWG as it stands is so broken? Why not devote that development time to what we have already?

3. Why does rally fail more than it works?

4. Why don't our passives show up in the combat window?

5. Why doesn't this forum get any feedback on our ideas?

6. Why do we have survival as a requirement? we have no survival abilities.

7. Why can't any red name ever show up in this forum?

8. When are you going to fix the xp system? Its insulting to anyone who made master the hard way, you can literally master SL in one day. I know three people who did.

9. Why do we keep making these lists with no feedback?

10. Where is our correspondent?

Stupid button that did the thing. No particular order on the questions...


1. Why doSLs have Survival as a prerequisite when there are no skills or bonuses related to it in SL?


2. Why can't SLs control more faction pets than anyone else?


3. Can you at least give us weekly updates on your progress for the SL revamp? Or all the professions due for revamping?


4. Will SLs get more perks with all the upcoming GCW changes?


5. Are SLs going to get more combat skills, or at least more support skills similar to the Ranged Support tree in marksman?


6. SL experience started out normal, then got really hard, then was immediately changed to be really easy to get. How easy will it be to get SL experience compared with the way it is now and the way it was after live?


7. A lot of people like the idea of having drop zones or evac zones that take people to nearby cities...is this feasible to be implemented in the near future?


8. Are you going to make a lot of professions interact with each other more? At least combat/medic professions and Squad Leaders which should have good uses for each one?


9. Are SLs going to have more control over npc and faction pets than non-SLs? More control = have them do things other people cannot
