No (You can solo all you want, but no SL XP for doing so)

1. No. Its nice, but it really defeats the current theory of SL exp.

2. No. You should have your abilities wether you are grouped or not. They are not all that significant anyway.

3.I don't understand your question. Do you mean, solo and get SL experience? See bots above. If you mean no SL exp while soloing, then you want to nerfbots exp.

Yes, You are still directing a group.

No, pets should qualify for specials.

Yes. Everyone should be able to solo. It's just that when you solo you can't use your squad abilites unless you're grouped with a pet.

Absolutely NOT. Period.

There's no question to this, because squad leader is designed around leading PLAYERS. Sure, I'll be the first to agree that it was a very nice bonus to get squad xp with my pet But, it really shouldn't have at all. The basis is to lead groups of players, you take squad leader because you're a leader willing to take responsibility for leading a group of players. If you even have to question this, you should choose another class

I'm not sure why some of you people are trying to get our own class nerfed, especially when it's universally considered one of the most useless classes in the game.

Unless you have 3 creatures, 3 faction pets and a droid the squad xp you get will be pretty negligible. And if you have that much stuff under your command, why SHOULDN'T you learn a substantial amount about squad leadership?

Some of us enjoy challenges and a sense of accomplishment that comes with achieving something difficult.

Pets/droids should be counted toward SL XP, they are as much a part of the group as the person they are with. Perfect examples are R2D2 and C3PO, but I guess Luke, Han, etc, never benefited from having them around?

I'm with an earlier poster: judging from a couple of posts it would seem some of our ownare looking to nerf us when we are definitely not overpowered.

If anything we need a little TLC from the devs in the areas of a special weapon, a reason for people wanting us in their groups at novice level, and possibly a faction perk discount.

We are leaders, whether we are leading a squad of faction personnel, or real humans.

POLL CLOSED! Results below

Thanks for replying. I believe this is one of the best ways of finding out just what YOU the Squad Leader think should be the direction for the class. I only wish there was a closed forum for each person who had novice or above in the skill.

If you think pets/droids should be counted in the squad leader formula while grouping.

Yes: 10 No: 9

Should you have to have another person grouped with you to make use of your abilites?

Yes: 8No: 10 Abstain: 1

Should you be able to solo in the times when you can't find a group?

Yes:9 No: 9Abstain: 1

So from the inferred above the concensus is that Yes pets/droids should be counted as part of a group and you should recieve Squad Leader Xp for them being in the group.

You should not have to have someone (another PC) in your group to have your abilites function. And to be honest how hard is it to cheat anyhow? If it was required to have another person just head off to the cantina and get a dancer to fellow with you while you run missions. You get all your bonus's. So I'm in agreement here

As far as being able to solo it appears that its dead even that you as a squad leader should be able to solo. Most beileve that you should at least have to have a pet or droid grouped with you to use your abilites and that they will only activate when you are grouped. (As they currently act.)

If I added my vote in here. I would vote: Yes, No, Yes

YOU the player are the important one. YOU need to make your concerns known and to be heard so that WE the Squad Leaders are NOT forgotten!!
