Well heres a usfull command for you,


A Command that a CH recieves when coomanded by a SquadLeader.


ALL PETS ATTACK!!


A god leader does draw out the best from people.


Perhaps this ability goes under the leadershipp commands.


A command for Rangers, Comoflage Group.


Lets them Hide the Entire group from the little radar during PvE or PvP play.


Startagy Skill of course.


For Commandos, an ability that boosts their Damage VS Buildings and Vehicles. Call it Sapper.


Falls under the Stratagy Skill.


Another Command that would really be usfull, /auto split


Automatically splits any credits recieved as loot to everyone, but with a +10% going to SquadLeaders.


These are just af ew thoughts I had really LATE last night while doing missions on Dantooine that were for 30K+, made all most 80K at it.

I really like this idea as well. Maybe have the stronger professions get the perks at a higher SL level,


i.e.,


1st Teir- Marksman, Medics, Entertainers, Brawlers, Scouts


2nd Teir- Carbine Specialist, Dancer, Doctor, Musician, One-handed specialist, Pistoleer, Ranger, Rifle specialist, Teras Kasi, Two-handed specialist


3rd Teir- Smuggler, Combat Medic, CH


4th Teir- Commando, BH


Master- All those are minimal benefits that are doubled at the master level.

Note on the Bunker Idea: spawned off from a topic on Squad Leader based Camps... We were out n out told the Squad Leaders aren't a High End Survival Class by rangers... So we have carlified that we want Bunkers, Stand Alone Bunkers for our groups that are combat and deffense oriented, not sit and heal and push away mobs...



Bunkers are Combat Oriented, Not Camp. We Fortify our positions, we don't need a **edit** ranger to do it, we can make camps too... heh.



Now as for this Idea on certain Specials becoming available only when SL's are leading the group... I LOVE IT!!! Best Idea I have heard in a while...



How about 1 Special for Every Elite Combat Class, And several all around specials for everyone...


Example of All around Specials For people in a Group Led by Squad Leader



Make it Snappy: A 25% Increase to run speed, costs half of a burst run and no timer... A Squad Leader can put his whole group into this effect, or individual group members can choose to use it whenever they feel neccesary



Dig In: A 25% Increase to Dammage Resistance of All types... However your posture is lowered to either crouch or prone, and you are unable to move while Dug In... If infortifications, Dig In will be an even higher increase to resistances...



Lettem' Have it!: a 25% Increase to Rate of Fire, 40% if in Fortifications... A Squad Leader can call this one if necesarry, but its still individual skill



Cover Fire: Select a Squad Mate, hit cover fire on him, you attack someone who is ATTACKING HIM, and more importantly,THE PERSON ATTACKING YOUR SQUAD MATE attacks you if the cover fire is succesful. A Squad Leader should be able to call this one to his groupat a Decent HAM cost to himself *not unreasonable but decent* But it should still be individually available... This one would be great if someone in your group is taking fire and you need to gettem off of him...





Just some examples... But I love this Idea...

I like this idea a lot, too. I think the abilities would have to be an 'icing on the cake' thing though, to keep the other professions happy.

i really don't see the usefulness of the bunker things. whenever i'm pve or pvp, rarely do i find myself in one spot for very long. most of the time we are running around.

i think i'd like to see an AR adjustment at master squad leader. if you have light armor it goes to medium, if you have no armor it goes to light. might be too powerful though...

something else that could be beneficial is group resists, +10 to group poison resist, or +10 to group disease resist. numbers could be adjusted for balance etc.

just my thoughts.

Nice idea BUT it will not happen.


To get one thing fixed by the Devs is twisting balls in a vice, and to actually get them to add things to multiple professions for no good reason but to enhance them? LOL dont see it happening this decade.



The "ramp up" on SL is a crock and wont happen to anyone's satisfaction.

ok, then how about this, something like a weapon enhancement, a "fortification kit" if you will, something that a SL can craft, and sell, or give to a ranger that gives the ranger's camp fortifications and makes them a combat camp. something like that.

Thats a darn good idea, make those "new" skills group oriented too so everyone can be useful in a battle, so an artisian could help out in a battle per say, to get away from the craftingstuff once in a while. People would seek out squad leaders, if you made these "new" skills better than what they could do on thier own. I dont know anything about carbines but maybe they could have an area suppression fire for "new" skill, I would change from a sl/pistoleer to sl/carbineer if they had that for sure

the point of the bunker would be to reduce the running around. in PvP everyone squarea off, fights one person till they die, then more to the next. everyone runs around. The point of the bunker would be to prevent that. it would give you a position to fight from, that would give you some combat benifits, like cover, or other things that would make the group fight more like a squad,and less like a bunch of fools running around. the whole concept of the bunket would help the SL in keeping his squad together. If you had a defensive structure to fight from, that gave you bonus' to defense, and possibly cover, you'd fight from it, right?

i like the idea of SLs 'unlocking' certin specials for other profesions, but i still want to see SLs get bunkers over Rangers, they are a hunting profession and we are still more of a PvP profession in my opinion. i would prefer if SLs could use bunkers but still be able to combine then with ranger camps when both are in a group.


one thing that was brought up on the ranger board was rangers where interesed in having the group terrain nav skill mod that we havetheir reasoning for this is as ranger they have an extensive knowledge of navagating hostile terrain so they would be able to 'find' the quickest path for the group. and while i dont wnat to share an ability with them, it gave me an other idea


someone sugguested that there could be a skill that would increase normal running speed (not burst run just the normal movement speed). and i think that would be put to better use for rangers. call it "Group Path Finding" while grouped with a ranger (the ranger does not have to be the group leader) the group recives a increase in normal running speed of all members of the group that way they could get to their desitiation faster.


this skill would NOT effect terrain navigation so either the members would have to have exploration, or they would have to be in a group with a SL or they would still be slowed down by hills.


perhaps Group Path Finding could be the Special Skill that SLs would unlock for rangers

i posted on another post about this.. but, i'll bring it here......


how about giving the SL the mind heal ability... thats what we do... help the morale and mental stability of the squad so they can finish the mission.... seems logical to me
