I honestly did Squad Leader because...
1. I don't see many
2. My PA didn't have one
3. I already had everything I needed, except Wilderness Survival 4.

I never really started out wanting to be a SL... My character just kinda evolved that way, as others have stated theirs have.. I was a rifleman, but wanted something else. Something to stand out, something special, something that would pit me in the middle of all the action. So I thumbed through the guide I bought when I bought the game on release day (note to self, stop buying guides for online games) and found Squad Leader. So here I am. And here I shall stay. Nothing else really interests me at the moment.. Not until Space Expansion hits the shelves and I can become a pilot. But for now, I wholeheartedly lead my groups into battle, with little in the way of ability, but alot in spirit and heart.

Simply because i love leading raids and making others around me have fun in this game. I ran so many raids in EQ and virtually perfected it, So why not do it here on SWG?

Why am i a squad leader?
People need leading. I lead them. 
And im good at what i do, regardless of my professions inadequicies of wich there are many...far too many.
pretty simple eh? If the shoe fits, wear it.

well being aguildmaster of a guild from NeverWinterNights I was already experienced at leading, so I figured I could help by leading here as well........ and I like pissing people of by using volley fire when everyone is chatting in a camp site

For one I think that Field Commander is the coolest title anyone can have. The main reason that I chose to become a MasterSquad Leader is because I just hadn't seen any yet and I like the idea of being one of those rare professions. I also like the idea of granting the groups that I lead special abilities that they would not have if I wasn't there to lead them into battle. Despite the fact that many of our specials don't seem to do much for our groups. Volleyfire seems to work alright and the steadyaim thing seems okay as well. I've often had my group members thank me for leading when we all disband and it's always good to have an appreciated profession. I look forward to the day when Squad Leader is fixed up by the devs, but until that day I think we'll be okay with what we have. So I am a Squad Leader because I think it's a fun profession and a valuable one that will only get better with time.

I chose Squad Leader because I envisioned standing just outside the real fun killing myself trying to get useless abilities to succeed, and while I'm sitting and not fighting sending neat system messages to n00bs--I don't think "/sysgroup Congratulations, you have unlocked your FSCS slot!" will ever get old! I also was really hoping to spend 135 skillpoints for a really cool Title and the ability to help my friends crawl really fast! My vision is of a Squad Leader that can keep people in line by rubbing salt in wounds and sharing them with everyone and making sure none of my friends can harvest, heal, or even sit down. That's why I chose Squad Leader.
