Thread: A Grouping Question with PRE-PUBLISH 24
1) Master SL ![]()
2) Ideally, no more then 3 - One as group leader with the ability to group buff and do group commands. The other 2 are there for support (indv and group buffs) and backup if something were to happen to the GL (ie... death /eek)
1. Yes, MSL since launch in '03
2. One- Me
SL needs to be the leader of the group also.
2) No more than 2 given the outlines by Ackehece, otherwise just one.
1. Longest Master SL left on Kauri, have been master since July 2003. Have trained many soldiers in my life time. Was about to cancel the day before this revamp hit test center. Decided to stick it out for a month and hopefully shape this profession into what IT SHOULD BE. After that I can leave in peace.
2.Respect the chain of command. One squad leader leads, one is 2nd in command. Perks for being a master SL, give 2 buff abilities that can be toggled if you are a master.
I would choose 1 SL per group if:
They add a platoon ability that can link squad leaders together as a master SL perk. Linking SLs will also link the group buffs with the exception of "leadership" buffs. A master SL can create a platoon with up to 4 other SLs for a total of 40 group members. A new chat channel is created for the platoon leaders to communicate in. Only the platoon leader has to be a master SL, the other squad leaders can just be novice or higher. Platoon leaders gain an extra buff ability so a full platoon has a possible 6 group buffs being applied. These leadership buffs are the following:
Called Shot
Second Chance
Rally point
Paint target
Retreat
Charge

1. MSL
2. ONE - multiple through use of a nonexsistant platoon ability - against two in one group cause i want that spot filled by another proff.
