Here's two questions for you. There is no right or wrong answer, just a census of the questions.

1) Are you an SL?
2) How many SL's do you want to see in your group?

So we don't get into a debate here, this is not what this is for...

Rule 1) 1 post per person.
Rule 2) There is no right answer. Anyone who makes a post that disagrees with either side is not in the wrong. I have stated my opinion in other threads and that is my opinion. It is not the right answer nor is it the wrong answer.
Rule 3) No flaming. This is a survey, nothing more. See Rule 2.
Rule 4) Answer the question, nothing more. We can all state our opinions in different threads that have come our way. Those of you who have, it's fine, but please, I don't want this poll to get off topic. I have been reading each and every post in SL, so I'm fully aware of your points.

  1. MSL all the way

  2. biased question. 1 person who give commands and really do the job, other SLs just to give minor support or none at all.

1) MSL (on three servers now)

2) 2 A leader and a 2nd

  • leader does the major 1 at a time /in effect buffs, sys group and group waypoint (coordinated strategy - a sudden change in a group buff made at the wrong time can kill everyone) The GL SL should have access to all skills

  • 2nd does individual buffs but not group buffs. they should stack but add only 10-20% more punch.(this way you can get rid of griefers who apply increase aggro to those who do not want it)

My initial impression:

  1. Master Squad Leader

  2. Two. I'd like there to be a requirement for the main Squad Leader to also be the group leader, with the option of addidng a designated backup/assistantteam leader who could cooperate to act as Ackehece has already outlined above.

I reserve the right to change my mind as testing continues.

  1. Master Squad Leader
  2. Two ONE - rather than two Squad leaders in one group, a MSL can form raid parties / cross group communication skills/ can form metagroups/ SL to SL only tells
I reserve the right to change my mind as testing continues.

p.s.
Darth Sushi, whats the feedback on this issue from the DEVs?
Can we have Keldarin post here in this forum and answere some of our questions and concerns?
We wont shoot him on sight ...

1) Master Squad Leader

2) Two, a Group Leader with all powers (Officer) and a helper with limited powers (NCO)

1. Yes, I was a Master Squad Leader.

2. No limit. Honestly being a group leader is a matter of semantics.

1) Master Squad Leader and proud of it!!

2) No more than Two. Think as that if the Group Leader is a SL (which i think we should have to be. Because if a Squad LEADER isn't the group leader where more just a buffing profession like doctors?) Then we can apply group and single buffs, and then like the second in command will only be able to give single buffs to help individual players. I also think as that for a Multi-SL Group to work they'll need to increase group sizes quite abit from 8 to say 20 maybe even 25. which then means as that if theres more than 1 SL in a group then theycan take command of different Types. Like one take care of Ranged and another Melee and Another Jedi (as we have lots of jedi to take care of now) But to have more than one SL in a group theres gotta be a understanding between the two SL's about who's doing what so we dont get two sets of commands and realy confuse every one.

Just my thoughts though
