Thread: Official: Your Comments on the New Abilities
i would like to put in my two cents for those out there that scoof at the new abilities and it is this; ever person in the game just as we all do in real life have free will. in the military and law enforcement or even in business a leader is defined by how they use their skill to lead individuals (with free will) to accomplish a common goal or objective. having said that if a member got a comand or directive from a SL and had the option to not do it i think would be better all the way around. if the mission fails the person that will be blamed would be the one or ones that refused the order and it could be the SL discretion to not have that person in the group to benefit any longer.
the bottom line i dont see a problem with any of the proposed changes as long as the option to refuse the order is in place. this adds a level of realism and gives others a choice as to whether they "trust" their presnt SL to pull them thru.
i will say this also the formation command will never work if it is in a column, there are rocks and obstructions out there that will have players fight harder to manuver with that than on their own. and i would change the wedge in a group larger than 10 to to groups of wedges. and also allow players in formations to break off from formations at will with a command and another to rejoin which would take them automatically back to where they were, as long as it wasnt too far from the group.
