Thread: A New Hope A Conversation with Thunderheart
[msg(TH)] Has anything come up about the current uselessness of the Squad Leader? Several issues & features have been brought up on the Forums, but no comments have been made by the Devs on any of them (at least not in a place where we can see them )

[msg(TH)] Could you *please* stop by the SL forums & say something to this effect? We've got hundreds of questions, not only related to future enhancements but about the state of things right now.

[msg(TH)] I think, right now, we'ld love just to have a Red-name in our forum.. We've only had 2 rednames since launch in the SL forum. We're mostly ignored.

ps: Yes, I did break protocol by messaging TH directly (which I know I was not supposed to do). But as the same question posted above was ignored by the 3 designated question-takers, I starting taking my questions "directly to the man".

Nice work, mate. I am ever the optimist for SL..mainly since we can't get much worse. So kudos to you for at least getting some recongnition that they've heard of SL and that Thulium is alive and well.

I am a little annoyed that the 'red names' are afraid to have their feelings hurt if they post on here via 'flames' so they opt to ignore. To me that is crap. Better to take your medicine early (quick and painless) then to kick and scream about and make it worst.
If I wasn't paying money for this game I might have a different attitude, I might be more forgiving. But guess what, I /am/ paying 15 bucks a month and I don't want to hear 'Ah screw them... lets blow it off another couple of months'. To me that isn't acceptible. Bastards have soaked me for over 200 bucks so far, and that is 5 other games I could have that would be giving me more enjoyment. I am paying money, we are all paying money. It is their damn job, and they are getting paid for it. I don't give a rat's ass about their feelings since they don't give a crap about mine.
My sympathy for the 'red names' is nill. I would rather SL be fixed to acceptible levels than the 'droid wars' or 'Genoshian lab'. At this pace, we might be flying ships first.
I am sorry, but reading that just really /pissed/ me off. Take this as a vent/rant and carry on.

I understand your frustration. There is another thread around here where Irott and I discuss that. We are on our third iteration now discussing and argueing the same old topics and have all kinds of new post of "I have an idea for SL" from the new SLs who weren't part of the fight since the beginning. I myself am tired of posting the same old thing over and over again without any kind of acknowledgement. But please keep in mind that you are our "blue name" and we have been in dire need of just a HELLO from you. Even if you don't have anything to pass along. So please stop in a say Hi a little more often so we at least feel that one piece of the puzzle is still active.
At the risk of offending you, if you find that you cannot spend more time as the correspondant then perhaps it is time to step down. I understand RL commitments and this is only a game, but as our Blue Name, there is a requirement above and beyond the normal gamer attention. You have done a great job prior to the long silence and I am not saying we NEED a new coor, but perhaps it would be better for you if you took a break.
Keep the faith.
While no one wants to get drug into a flame-war, the Red-names need to start posting more in the profession forums (not just the SL forum, although it would be appreciated hint hint). They can ignore flames just like the rest of us, but how can they know what's going on if they don't come talk to us?
And Thulium, you're our only link to Dev input. I don't know how much time you're spending with SWG & the Forums nowadays, but that post was the first I've seen in a looong time from you. If you're getting tired of not having anything to say, then maybe it's time for a replacement? I'ld hate to see anyone go the way of CaptV, but if the dev's won't talk then there's little reason to have a SL correspondent.

Your damn right it will. why cause SL's have been lied to since day one. TRUST IS EARNED. WHY DONT YOU TRY AND DO THAT.
