I hearby respectfully call on Thunderheart to repond to this post by Captain Vemnox, Squad Leader Correspondent.

If Thunderheart does not have a reasonable response or explanation/excuse for this situation, I call for his immediate resignation.

Folks, what has happened with Squad Leader EXTENDS to EVERY profession andequates simply as poor customer service...as a subscribing customer to SOE, paying $15/month, I expect reasonable development progress to expand and improve the SWG Universe...considering the last few months, I do not feel that end of the bargain has been upheld, and as such will not be continuing my subscription...

I'll sign, but I doubt we can manage anything at all.

What bothers me the most is Thunderheart being appointed as the "community correspondant". Now how the hell can he be a comunnity correspondant if he says "he's too busy" for the community? Unless you have another job, basically you just sit all day compiling problems and issues around all the professions. Shouldn't be too hard with the Profession correspondants, they do all the dirty work for you and even stick th most important posts so you don't have to search thru dozens of pages.

We demand answers, and proper ones.

it still doesnt make up for the fact that SL has been almost completely and totally ignored for 5 months...Vem has given the Devs a top 5 AND MORE like a million times, and nothing has ever been done...heck i dont even know if much, if any, of this stuff has even been LOOKED at

TH didnt have to look far to find what he wanted, it shoulda been right under his nose.

im not saying Vem was completely right.... but I mean...you DO have to understand why he felt that way.

After 5 months of the devs wastingVemnox's time, I think the least TH could have donewas to just click the link, get the report, and tell Vemnox to please cut & paste next time. I think TH lack the patience needed for his position. He is quite upset, and he has only been working in this for less thana month.

Enough said.

Jester...you are pathetic.

Brown nose much?

Even if Capt didnt give TH the info he wanted on a silver platter the info was clearly available. Try to sink your brain into why poor Capt became so jaded after being in the position he was for 4-5 months.

It is soooo sad that TH is just a blatent jerk to sooooo many people andcertain correspondants arerunning around sucking up to him. As far as I can tell, TH has done nothing for the players except delay changes while he gets "organized" and blame all the bad patches the fact the player base won't go test them for free.

You clearly all set for a successfull life in the world of corporate cubicles.

Thunderheart has made mistakes and there are ways that I think he could do the job better. I do think the whole thing with Captain Vemnox could have been handled better....it could also have been handled better by Captian Vemnox.

However, he is also very new at this job and anybody new to a job can make mistakes. Overall, I think he is doing a better job than most people could and is deffinitely trying harder than anybody else would.

So just chill out. Thunderheart is going a good job overall.

Ya know, I'm just as pissed off as the rest of you about this whole Top 5 thing, but I hardly think that starting a petition calling for an SOE employee's resignation is going to endear anybody to our cause. Think about it.

Captain Vemnox broke trust, the trust in his status as a correspondent. His quotes he uses are not a 100% accurate reflection on the events. As quotes often do they tell the tale as to how they are laid out and it is the things missing that would fill in the entire story. Such as the conviently missing statement by TH, do not post LINKS, which is all Captain Vemnox would do.

The request by TH was quite clear and on that Thread Captain Vemox failed to properly represent the squad leader profession by doing exactly as requested.

More in demanding TH get the information himself rather then fufilling the role a correspondent fills which is to server as a conduit for that information so that it gets to the right people at the right time. Captain Vemnox probably was only having a bad week, we all have them from time to time, but it was Captain Vemnox's error and failing to complie with clearly written instructions.

Rather then suck it up and keep the best interests of the Squad leaders at heart Captain Vemnox choose to continue disputing the means to which the information was provided, until finally a different correspondent provided TH with the very information he had been requesting a Vemnox all along.

As a player I find the follow up to this once private issue becomming more public by Vemnox posting on the open forums and doing so in a fashion to mask his own failings.

SO to sum up, TH is doing a dang fine job, this petition is laughable and so is Captain Vemnox's soap box grand standing resignation post, I just hope there is one among you who would better serve the Squad leader community.

Good grief, get a life.

Thunderheart has been on the job less than a month.

And depsite the fact that he has a red name, he has little influence over the developers (imagine if you had been working somewhere for years and someone was newly hired, would you take orders from him?). He is there as a go-between between the devs and the community. He's not their boss and they dont make their decisions based on him.

I have tons of respect for Captain Vemnox and think that he has done the best he could as the Coorespondent for our neglected profession. But from what he posted, it sounds as though he was being uncooperative. Not to say it was without reason, he's spent lots of time forming reports that aren't being read.

TH is the new guy and is doing everything he can to get all the professions lined out. Squad Leader isn't the only one screwed up. And because he has to juggle so much with professions, PLUS his other work, I dont think it was too much to ask to have all the info put in one place. Vemnox refused on principle because his other work was ignored. I don't blame him one bit.

But you can't fault TH who just came on the scene in the last couple of weeks for SoE's bad handling for the last 5 months.

I can make the claim very simply, Thunderheart asked that a total of 175 seperate issues be provided to him, representibg the top 5 of all the professions and several other areas.

To take all 175 issues and to hunt down and specifically discuss to get answers on all 175 issues is a huge task.

For a correspondent to be asked to simply type out the top 5 issues of thier area so that TH could effectively attempt to handle them all is a VERY simple request. Anyone failing to do so because they felt jaded failed in getting the top 5 issues of thier respective community addressed. That means the correspondent failed thier community.

that is simply how it works. It is not brown nosing it is simply stating the facts, what ever Captian did in the past to push forward issues is to be commended, but for what ever reason he choose to not simply post a top 5 in a consolidated area, the fault is his own, blaming TH or getting upset over it still does not fix the problem in where the failure was in this case. Compared to handling 175 issues simultaneously across the spectrum of the entire game, posting a top 5 for your area is a very very small task for a person to do.
