SL is a profession that takes 64 skill points out of your measly 250, not counting pre-reqs you may not want as a melee fighter. The benefits of the profession only apply to you when you're grouped. You're better off getting other professions instead, there's always a combo that doesnt have the benefits you'd never use anyway, and much better versions of the other benefits. I think it's only fair to get quick XP as a reward for spending your precious skillpoints in a selfless manner.

any proffesion that more usefull then SL???

its for the love and the fun dude not for how many skill points it cost!

If you're simply out solo-ing for a few hours, Squad leader is nothing but a burden on your skill points, because there are no benefits to it at that point. It's the tradeoff you make for being a great group leader, but that doesn't mean it's fun to be a SL when you're alone

I think we should lower SL xp so that you only get 1 xp per kill, but keep the cost per box the same. That way all the holo grinders will rant and rave about how hard and worthless the profession is. Then we might see some changes around here.

After all, the holocroners are the largest influx of people we've had into this broken class. What better way to get things fixed than to have hundreds of angry fans pounding away the gates of SOE?

yes, I KNOW it's not too hard to get a group when you're soloing. But the point is that e.g. TKA will make you much more useful then SL, even when you're grouped with your pets. I'm defending your profession in a way that is more technical then the fun aspect, because personal aspects aren't valid reasons to debate with, and you call me a n00b. Somewhat impolite is the best I can call it.

i play this game to have fun (not whats most usfull)and i am having fun as an SL/commandoyou can even become master TKA and Master squad leader if you want to

but i dont like TKA (its not that much fun)

at least make it 50% from what you get now

becose i can become master in 2 hours

I'm amused that you want to nerf the XP after you have already hit master. You don't have a problem with the fact that you got to the top easily, but you don't want any others to do the same.

Exactly. It's a typical response. I'm done lvling now nerf it so everyone else has to do 2-3x the work I did for the same result.
