Hope some of them are on Ahazi. I rarely see other SL's unless it's one of those huge battles that span a couple planets. It is nice to see more interest in Squad Leader, and it must be nice for them to have their questions attended to as they usualy are on this forum.

I just hope they're not stripping the profession imho AND I hope they stick with it. Maybe this bit of attention will make the Dev's give us a second look.

I had two very promising MSL on Ahazi but one dropped it lately for Ranger, since he ll be going to school soon again so wont be able to group that much as well one other who dropped it also for ranges since he didnt found it worth the skill points but he is currently grinding back to SL ...

And yes with ppl getting more used to SL a lot of new ppl started to take the path and explore the live of a Sl at least on ahazi and all I talked to love it and think its great although there is seriously need for improvement and after two or three months they leave to .. try something new ...

... but thats okay with me. All who played with me enjoyed it ...

Scout, one of your fellow Reb SL's on Ahazi won't un-target me in battle anymore. :-( Hehe.

@Inenout:

I only notice them when they wear the MSL tag, it always looks very promising when I see them. Pre CU I was as rare as real jedi in SW with my MSL tag but currently I see more and more of them (what is good). It's a pity Im usually always on the move that I hardly find the time to chit-chat with them about our all profession.

Regarding those x4x4 SLs, those seem to be more veteran players who pick it because of our only two usefull ingame skills (a volleyfire of an 8men ranged group is realy deadly in PvE and PvP). The Master SLs I tend to see and talk to seem to be more new to the game and are still exploring things (that's why its okay if they drop if for something new, some come back and those are realy dedicated to it).

@Heinz:

Is it a rebel or a REB squad leader? Most PvP on Ahazi tends to realy heat up when I need to get to bed (hence my still low participating in PvP). I only tell them how to get the most fun and effect out of their out profession.
Maybe 6k rebel faction would help you to get out of his aim .

Haha, fat chance on the faction. No, he's from Wing. Ulldu. I'd never met him prior to the big fight over the Bestine starport the night that Vader showed up just outside to give missions. Now he sends his group after me in fights. *l* Usually I just have rifleman target him back and drive him off, but last night we didn't have very many rifles.

Ulldu ...

... aha ...

Yepp, he accompanied me a lot and I told him everything I knew. Was the best right hand I ever had, pity he couldnt get his ventrilo working, would have increased our effectiveness across two groups even more .

Have been busting a lot of bases together too. I admit a lot of them PvE but that gave me the opportunity to take care of exchanging tactics and knowledge and trying these out.

Nice to see he is still SL, said he would drop it for ranger but I think he realy realy likes SL.
I ll gonna make it hard for him to drop that, so expect to keep getting targeted by him .

I guess you'd call me a noob MSL. I started the profession just to do some base busting, but I really started enjoying the bonuses my group received because of me. I decided to keep pursuing the prof to master just because I dig it so much.

BTW, if a dev is reading this....

/jedimindtrick Squad Leaders should be able to support groups larger than 8.

/jedimindtrick MSL should be able to lead a group of 12, at least.

There is no noob MSL. The noobs are in other professions, we have promising recruits and battle-proven veterans here. And the first usually pretty soon transform into the second. (Food, drinks and the necessary field-humor or sarcasm included. Girls might take a minute longer.)

Anyways, big welcome to the team.

Love the idea of Squad leader so ill be grinding it to master and sticking with it. Like was stated above hope the all the new attention to the profesion will get the Devs looking at what needs to be done to make it more complete.

Course Id just be happy with a special rank sash for everyone that reaches MSL. that way even if your wearing a diffrent tag everyone will still what you are and what you do (cause lets face it comisar just sounds cooler than msl)
