Um yes, a comma sounds good then you can revive me when we can smuggle. Till then I will supply my self with slicing parts, easily done wile in a comma.

However, the elders here DO seem to have more charisma, and leadership that we can all rally under. Dabblers, and those who don't feel smuggling is needed, don't seem to get any respect here (from these forums or ME.
Okay, this is where you lost me. I realize that the rest of your post is meant in a humorous way, but you're only displaying that same arrogance that's so prevalent around here. And it's a bit counterproductive too, because as even I have noticed in the past few months, the "old breed" of smuggler is dying out. So you can just stay in your little clique and tell yourself that you're better than everyone else. But don't be too surprised if one day after Smuggler (hopefully) has been revamped and is on the upswing again you will be outnumbered by new smugglers that will forman all-new Smuggler community that has no place for you if you can't be bothered to get off your high horses and show us the respect we DO deserve, contrary to what you seem to think. And I'm talking not just about respect to a fellow smuggler, but also the basic respect due to a fellow human being - because those two go hand in hand.

Yes, I've seen it, and I think Wes was doing a great job starting that thread and he brought up some very relevant points too. I'm just not too up to date on where that thread is right now, because my internet connection was broken all day yesterday, I'm only now catching up on my forum reading

And anyway, after Wes made an effort to pull the community together, the original post in THIS thread just fans the flames again - I don't care if it's supposed to be humorous, these "as a new smuggler you're second-rate material, so bow down and worship us" sentiments are really starting to get on my nerves. So my reply is right where it belongs

I think gassygunslinger was not making that post in the attitude you described. The names he put there were chosen because those people were awesome Smugglers not because of the date they joined.

Those people were great to have around, and characters like those make this community better, if they joined in Beta or a week ago.
