I swear. So I've been screwing around with the different Classes in WoW, and... I'm thinkin Warlock...
It's like the Smuggler of WoW
As far as needing love goes apparently.
/sigh Well, what's the fun in it if you can't be the underdog...?

Become a Rogue... How is the game anyway? I was looking at it and was wondering about it myself.

Yea, Rogue is the obvious choice, although Smuggler is actually nothing like a rogue. They started out as a rogue, but since, have mutated into, I dunno what I'd call our combat skills, but as far as WoW professions go, Slicing and Spicing would probably be Enchanting and Alchemy.
I've been a rogue in every roleplaying game I've ever played that had a rogue class
But get this, in WoW, rogue is MAD popular, like, Jedi popular. And they're pretty much the only ones without something to complain about. It's some magical topsy turvy land lol.
But I dunno, WoW's Warlock just seems like it's more in keepinng with my style. It's complicated. Requires all sorts of different things going on all at once, and like Smuggler, requires a "loot" tool that takes up inventory space like crazy
Anyway, I've only been playing for two days, so I can't really attest to long term enjoyability, but so far, fun stuff. Quests are fun, the world, while obviously not as gargantuan as Galaxies, is incredibly detailed, and fun to explore. Background story is cool, as far as fantasy type stuff goes, and the quests kinda make you feel a part of what's going on.
I wouldn't say it's for everybody, and without the solid non-combat toons, it's definitely missing that certain something that SWG has, but hey, like I said, I'm a level 8 noob (well like 3 or 4 level 8 noobs from all the playing around), I can't exactly give the definitive review on it

I have it. It is ok...(Friend made me play it! I swear!) the quest are good and it allows you to solo or to group. and it is interesting yet you can see some faults after the eyecandy ( like the same type of buildings) but it has a superb travel system.( your supposed to walk to your talk to the transport person before you can fly. (oh no! I'm turning into a Fantasy Nerd! Oh wait, haven't played it in weeks lol) still a good game but, has tons of immature children (I am one but I am very mature for my age and I can barely translate L337. I hear tons offriends talking about it so you will be playing with whiners.) and you probly will be bored by 3 months if you continue to lvl. That is just my report but regardless it is fun and something that is ok ( though i will never choose it over this imo).

As far as immaturity goes, yea I expect that the average brain controlling the various toons is going to to be slightly lower than there is in SWG, and lower still than the good 'ol smugglers. But, I can't in good conscience continue paying 15 bucks a month just so I don't let down other people. So, whether WoW ends up being a long term thing for me or not, it's my first step

I'm goan brain you with my Commemorative Nerf Bat
Someone with some web space and a lot of free time oughta set up a MMO Gimp Forum, wherein smugglers from SWG, warlocks from WoW, and archers from Asheron's Call can all come together to share war stories (losing them specifically) and generally commiserate.

And, apparently, Caldari pilots who prefer missiles from EVE. I subscribed and firmly picked my career choice there two days before what is now known as the great missile nerf.

not a fan of humans or orcs so that leaves me with undead and gnomes
for some reason the idea of an evil gnome is calling to me...
