Thread: Master Smuggler Failed imperial scan... **edit** !!!

I know highranking imps are immune to the scans. But was allmost sure the Master Smuggler was "close to immune". So I guess thats just one of those scans that proves the point that we arn't.

as smugglers we get some sort of unseen modifier for evading scans. I have heard that at master you have a 90% chance of evading a scan. this benefit also applies to anyone you are grouped with. however 90% is not 100%. there is always that chance that you will get caught. Personally, I have been scanned many times and I have yet to be busted *knocks on wood*

I'm not a master smuggler yet - but the fact that i HAVEN'T evaded ANYof the last 6 scans is quite frustrating.

Master Smugglers should not be 100% scan resist, You should be "busted" from time to time. Deal with it.

I belive the chance of passing a scan at Master Smuggler is 95%, not 90.

I've been scanned three times - once in the wilderness, once in Mos Espa and two days ago as I entered Kor Vella. Pass, Pass, Fail. I couldn't believe it. Almost forgot to run away I almost feigned before I realised my ride would have been destroyed, so I booked it to the Rebel base, asked to go Covert, was told to wait an hour, and did some faction missions.

I thought at first it was because the trooper pulled me off my bike and I warped to a point that he thought I was running, but nope, the message was that he had found contraband (could it have been one of the 6 sliced pistols, the 4 crates of muon/pixie, the loose booster blue, the sliced wookiee armour, or the excess Rebel faction I had on me? )

Nope, only if you are a high ranking Imperial. Yea, another "Smuggler" benefit passed up...

Imperial Colonel does not a 100% sucess rate make... Probots in the wilderness dont care who you are, now stand still so it can scan you and try not to make any sudden moves.
I do not know what happens if BOTH your rank and your Master Smuggler 95% fail. Hope it's ugly.
