The other day I was scanned. I was let pass becuase they did not find anything. The funny thing is I had muon gold, neutron pixie, 3 sliced weapons, and a set of sliced composite armor, and I am not even a smuggler yet.

That's what I have read as well...I never realy thout of the "negative affects for rebel smugglers though. I mean Im a Master but am neutral so I sit and wait for the scan to complet every time. Now with my rebel character I attack instantly for I would rather take a TEF the possibly forced overt, and waiting it out as a master rebel smuggler well that does suck. By the way I have failed 2 scans so consider your luck better than mine (althou it only cost me 900 cred total)

have never been scaned, at leeast not that ive noticed......but then I am a master smuggler as well as an imperial captain.

i have no problem with sacaning 0 time i got fail ..when st caming on me ill stop and start to talk or salute him and i have no fail exp..i dont think talking or salute working but it feels good (igot one macro for this im talking about i dont have any illegal food or weapons ..bla bla)

i've yet to be scaned, i kinda feel left out. everyone talking about getting scaned and i've never been. /cry

I'm an Imperial Major Master Smuggler, and lately I get scanned everytime I go through Mos Espa, which bites since my house is just south of Mos Espa. Anyway, I have never failed a scan, even though at all times I am carrying 5 crate of moun, and pixie, 3 sliced pistols, and a full set of sliced armor.
Yet, two nights ago I watched a Covert Rebel get scanned, who also had sliced weapons and armor, and was NOT a smuggler get scanned and pass.
The system is screwed up.
