I've put together a new web page tool to help Smugglers and their customers understand the new Slicing system and optimize their Slices.

Version 2.1



  • Added the percentage increase in DPS from slices into the summary.

  • Added a link to the weapon hard caps post. At some point in the future I may incorporate these capsinto the tool...

Version 2.0



  • W3C validated for both HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS.

  • Now fully compatible with Mozilla-based browsers (such as Firefox 1.0.6).

Version 1.1



  • Added a textbox to put in Elemental Damage so that DPS will get calculated correctly.

  • Potentially fixed an issue with the main Form object.


(Note: If you're seeing the old version of the page when you go there use CTRL + F5 to reload the page from the server to get the latest version.)

Wow! Nice work, SonGouki.


And to think I despised you because you were the Jedi correspondent... well... maybe not you, but your few (hundred) thousand board members seem never satisfied in the chunk they keep bitting out of this game. I saw a thread in there where somebodywas demanding 4 cyber arms so they could quadruple-wield lightsabers.... I hope stuff like that doesn't see development time before we actually get to smuggle

It doesn't appear to work with Firefox.

With firefox the summary area does not get updated

It says under options that javascript is enabled. The components list and customization bar update for weapon slices, but the numbers for the modified stats, slice details, and the customization total percentage don't. I can't get the armor slicing part to work at all. Everything else is fine though.
