Thread: So is there a smuggler handshake or is it just some emote that people do?

I have heard and read people talking about a secret smuggler handshake but is it something they actually added or are people just doing somthing like /emote gives (name) secret smuggler handshake

emote. I get laughs when I do it other smugglers. Kinda funny. Adds a small bit of rp.

Actually, do this when you approach another Smuggler.
1. Change direction slightly, so that you walk by on thier left side(or so that they're on your left)
2. Stop as you get directly to thier side.
3. Elevate you left leg behind you, the other should do the same.
4. Take hold of the other's left ankle, the other Smuggler should take hold of yours.(both of you using the left hand)
5. Shake up and down a couple times, then procede to go on about business
Then see how many people stare at you wondering what the hell is wrong with the two of you.

lol great thread
I encountered this in the Coronet starport a few days ago with a large wookie smuggler, it was great fun
but i didn't know it was a common occurance between master smugglers, I'll have to be careful not to forget it!!

Someone did it on these boards months ago now (I forget who) and it went from there. At first it was just in our posts but someone else wrote the /emote string and posted it. Soon it was everywhere.

Ive been doing it of late and other smugglers get a kick out of it. Great fun I use:
/shakehand;
/emote Gives %NT the Secret Smugglers Handshake;
/evilgrin;
no animation which is a bummer but it will say you give so and so a handshake just before the emote kicks in. I follow it up with the /evil grin just for fun. Im going to use it everytime i see another smuggler. It willbe very coolif we all start doing.

Secret Handshakeis to beused byMaster Smugglers only.
We don't get anything else as a master. Weshould at least get a secret handshake.

i made an emote and put it on my toolbar, so when i run by a smuggler i always hit the macro.. people get a kickout of it....
