Thread: How do you feel about the treatment smuggler has received?

I am very dissappointed. When I purchased this game I wanted to take part in my own Star Wars universe. I wanted to be a smuggler. The reason I purchased this game was because it was one of the only SW games that offered the ability to be a smuggler and wasn't so Jedi heavy.

I was wrong, this game has become a cliché of all that is Star Wars. This career and nameless others have recieved total disrespect and deserve better. Customer service has not helped us in the least and all the promises that have been made have gone ignored.

'Pirates of The Caribbean' gamehas better 'smuggling' (even the buggy Xbox version). Enough said.

i feel not only dissapointed but extremly cheated by SONY ONLINE ENTERTAINMENT. The way in which they have communicated with the Smuggler community has been criminal. Hell i even had a talk with my 80 year old grandad today who has no background with any of the events that have happend and even he said "it sounds like there messing you around, thats not right." Thats from my GRANDAD lol. When i think to when i forst got the game 2 years ago i couldnt wait but had to for another week before playing (was in the states at the time) when i did it was great but over the 2 years SOE have Lied, cheated and stole from us. I say Lucas strip SOE of the rights to make the game, sue them for all there worth and either do it in house or hand it to blizzard.

I haven't had this much fun since I was feeding my last dimes into slot machines in Reno at 4 in the morning as the blue haired old ladies hovered waiting for me to pass out so they could steal my machines and waking up the next day in a Cathouse with some haggard trailer trash holding a marriage certificate scolding me that Dominance is $300 extra.

I feel like I've been taken advantage of by my prison cellmate, and now that he's taken what he wants, he won't talk to me or even cuddle. He's so mean.

I'm a Bounty Hunter, but I had a friend who was a smuggler, and frankly, I feel absolutly horrible about the way the devs have treated you guys. I mean, just to think that the devs have supposedly drawn up ANOTHER FRS, on top of the one that didnt work, and given the Jedi two other patches besides that, while this profession still cant do what its name implies, infuriates me.


If I was a smuggler, I would try and protest, or SOMTHING, because the devs clearly are not hiding the fact that Jedi is the only profession that they care about. And while Bounty Hunters have gotten some attention, I think most of it is due to the fact that we are intertwined with the Jedi, so to speak. Personally, i'd rather take missions on smugglers because you guysseem to be decent people, unlike most of the Jedi i've met.


Anyway, I really, really hope that you guys get attention soon. The devs have no excuse for giving Jedi 3 revamps and even image designers a revamp before looking at you. After all, your one of the most iconic star wars professions out there.

hmmmmmm 2 plus years of not smuggling and being treated like one of the most unimportant professions in the game.......As an iconic profession from the movies and books I feel not so good about it.

Smuggler is not the only prof ignored. Im msmuggler/mcommando and both proffs arebadly broken. actually can't say commando is broken, just non existant. I came for the title, but only the community has kept me here, and when star trek online comes out, im switching.....
