Thread: A Question for Tiggs or a Developer

We have this information from SWG vault:
SWG Vault: Can you tell us when EXACTLY we will see the full Smuggler Revamp? And if you can't tell us, can you please tell us why?
Julio Torres: We are aware and sensitive to the fact that Smugglers need content to enjoy. We are currently working on this, and players should be able to enjoy the new content in November.
Could someone please let us know what the quoted "content" entails specifically? Is this a few added missions for smugglers or does this mean new functionality added to the Smuggler profession? What is coming in November for Smugglers?
Sorry, I can't and won't give details until the changes are a week out of hitting Test Center. As for the interview it is correctly quoted.

and it's worded to give him lots of wiggle room. Is it correct in that it's smuggler specific content unrelated to your lava planet expantion or that it's Mustifar content that smugglers can 'enjoy'.

Thanks for trying, even if you just got the usual nothing.

They didn't respond with "I agree" did they?
And in response to your original question Makris of "what is coming for Smugglers in November?"
The answer is nothing. The same expansion that everyone else is getting with perhaps a single smuggler only mission or some other crap, because they at SOE have probably figured that everytime they give us some BS about a smuggler revamp the griping stops and we spend 6 months speculating and waiting until they finally come out with the most current excuse for why it won't happen. We are like Pavlov's dogs, we salivate at the mention of a revamp every time, only to be left cold again.

i.e. I don't think we have to worry about semantics, but rather about development staying on track and on time (neither of which are ever 100%).
I think we do, since the developers/CR people have done some very silly semantics hairsplitting to "prove us wrong" on multiple occasions...
