Now that sure is a way to fix a special. Low Blow does work on some level without the knockdown so this is an interesting way for the devs to fix things.

Dev 3 (pipes in looking for a cookie): Well we could always just change the text in the box. Change it to say what the current special does now.
Dev 2: Good thinking chap lets do that.
Dev 1: But sir they've already got a snare. they might be angry if we give them another one. Besides we're already told them changing text is to hard, remember they were complainging about the their discription in their master box sir.
Dev 3 (looking for another cookie): We could always say we'll change it in their revamp *snigger*

hmm some people seem to have misconceptions on what some of our special abilities do.
lowblow - slows the target's attack speed. i think this means their cooldown timers are a bit longer. or they just take longer for each attack. it is not a Snare andit has nothing to do with their movement speed.
panic shot - is redundant with lowblow. slows the target's attack speed.
restraining shot - slows the target's movement speed. this is the Snare. itdidn't seem to beworking for a while on TC-ep3 because you couldn't notice any slowing of the target. then on the final day they got it working big time. butfrom what i've seen on my live server, it's back to not really working (although i've only tried it in PvE)
reckless shot - does not put any states or debuffs on your target from my experience. it does a lot of damage however. but it comes at the cost of your own defense. it lowers your defense by 50 i think.
i definitely think lowblow should have the KD brought back though. it's nice to have a ranged KD attack, and it would certainly bring us closer to a 5 in crowd control.
