SO. Do Panic and Low Blow Stack? Seems like those two and Recless might make a good Macro.

Ender.... SO funny..

I havent been happier in SWG since I stopped caring and went smuggler months back. We are the best community in my oppinion. For the most part we had accepted we were useless, we accepted that the devs dont give a damn and yet we all seem to have the most fun. I guess when youre at the bottom, all that really matters is having fun.

I love how everyone else gets revamps, and second revamps, and balances... and we just sit here watching the game wondering what will come of us.

Doesn't cut it I'm afriad. We're meant to be the Kings (Queens for the political correct ) of crowd control. Having 2 snares instead of 1 snare and a KD isn't my idea of crowd control. Espicaly with the snares being pretty lame. KDs are still the most useful special in PvP. Range KDs are even better.

I would like know how much I'm slowing my targets down for and if it stacks and how long etc. etc.

I loved Low Blow... it was my favorite Smuggler skill. I can't believe the Devs f*cked up our skills yet again, but on the other hand it doesn't surprise me.

I just want my knock-down back. It's not much of a "low blow" if all it does is slow down the target.

Jeez... why don't they fix Smuggler instead of taking away more and more?

Since everyone and their dog has "Recover from Dizzy" and "Recover from KD" now, I'd rather have the root.


I was grouped with two newbs last night andkept 5 squills rooted and panicked, while the newbsbeat on them. Since the squillswere aggroed to me and I was 7 meters away, nobody even got touched.

Gave it a shot this morning.... gave the target a 40% reduction in attack speed for somewhere along the lines of 15-20secs. Being a BH/Smuggler, it doesn't hurt me as much as (like someone mentioned earlier) because of underhand shot. For my Smuggler/Commando, it doesn't hurt because of the RL innate KD. It would suck for pistoleer/smugglers because they now have to get a ranged kd elsewhere. Doesn't this make Smuggler and Pistoleer more redundant as well? I mean isn't this pretty much a dumbed down disarming shot if not even the same shot? Was hoping Low Blow would be a big change up for the two profs to add more difference besides Last Ditch.

I would like to see the knockdown component put back into it as well. The previous post which mentions the redundancy echoes my thoughts as well. This is one of our profession defining specials.

i dunno if they stack or not... they probably do.but yeah unfortunately, the reduction in attack speed is hardly noticable.

Okay, with about 10 hrs straight of hunting...


I saw a lot of creatures get up pretty darn fast from a knockdown.


Few if any resisted or broke a Root!

KD is more effective against ranged attackers than melee. You can't attack while KD, even though it may not last long it's still important. With root they can still attack. And anyone who uses pistols (which i'm guessing is a lot of smugglers still) has a very short range of attack (35m) so you aren't going to be out of range. So it really depends on what type of mobs you fight against if this really makes a big difference or not. I don't like them taking a long standing useful special and making it a copy of another existing special that you ALREADY have. Gimme my kd back

Well, this simply won't do....a largepurpose of the CU was to make every profession viable, balanced and to remove any redundant specials. It seems extremely pointless to come out the other end of it with redundant specials of any sort (especially so for our beloved profession! ).
