I think the title says most of it but I'll reiterate. Would anybody happen to know what the all Imperial ranks are and how much FP are necessary for each one? Plz either respond to this post or send me a gmail.

I'm sure I saw something like this in relation to purchasing and delegating faction somewhere in the FAQs.

If a Smuggelr was sellign Faction Points. targetsed the player and said "/delegate 1000" how does the Smuggler go about getting the credits from that player? does a window pop-up or does the credits automatically come from the buyer?

OMG! Two in one day!!!

Read the FAQs. There's an excellent write-up on how to sell faction points. Not to mention just about everything else smuggler-related, except for the launching of pies and drinking of beer.

Seriously... read the FAQs. Anything someone throws together quick here in a response to your question is not going to be as good as reading the writ-ups that are stickied.

OH... and yeah, have them tip you before you delegate the points. (that's not really written up). I don't know about everyone else, but I always ask for payment before I do anything, whether it's faction points or slicing. Actually, I don't generally have the faction points to sell right away and I don't have the MONEY to buy all the faction people want beforehand, anyway... so I request payment before I get the points and delegate them. Some people might be suspicious, but if you're honest with them and get them their points as promised, you'll build a trusting customer base. At least... that's the theory.

There are a lot of stories in the 'chuckle for the smuggler' thread in the stickies... it would be worth reading it to see how other smugglers operate with slicing and faction sales... not to mention, it's pretty funny.

I think that is stupid, smugglers can simply go round to someone and steal loads of credits. Maybe Smugglers should have an extra button on the radial menu called *Faction*

Something like the trading menu except all it has is the credits part at the bottom and above it will be faction points. Like this:

*Me* *Player*

  • Faction Points:XXXX: Faction Points:XXXX

  • Credits:XXXX : Credits:XXXX

[Cancel] [Okay]

Would make more sense and maybe you won't need alot of people whinnign how to do it lol.

You know what? As handy as that would be, you KNOW that people would still ask about it.

I'm probably far too trusting, sometimes I delegate before getting the credits, butI haven't had a faction sale yet go bad. *knocks on wood*
