Point A: Thievery, ya there is that chance and i hope t hey never take it out.
would it suck to be stolen from? hell yes. but it adds a least a small amount of "underworld" feeling when doing a deal that is supposed to be illegal.
Also as a Smuggler I have always said, we have to be the most trusted people. It's not about skill, it's about trust. Therefore building a rep and maintaining contacts is important to our class. I am not a slice vendor, i am a smuggler. I like the seedy underworld and i cling to this small small bit of it tightly.
NOTE: stealing items / cash in game is punishable by banning and is not condoned or perpetrated by the author.
Point B: This will not be popular but i have said it before and (obviously) i'll say it again. I hope and pray to the crust under Chewies toenailsthat the ability to "sell" faction points is removed from smuggler.
25% of the Smuggler tree should not require me to be a general inn the effing army to use to it's fullest extent.
It was NEVER a smuggler skill. anyone can sell em, loophole is only we can buy em. Historical note /delegate came out months after release, close to a year if i am not mistaken. Underworld is the most lacking of smuggler trees without it yes. But let's hope that gets a fix instead of re-glossing the sugar coat they gave it with this faction crap.
Before ya freak out ask yourself a hard question: Do you resist taking it away because it's a cash cow? or because it's fun?
I am betting it ain't fun. I want Fun.
