Thread: You call a 32% speed slice 'okay'...you're an idiot!!! Grrrr...these people!!!

Okay, not to gripe, but some people are just aggravating...
Sliced an uber berserker rifle for this rodian, runs right up and asks me to slice...I do so....and I get a 32% speed slice on that monster...
He looks, shrugs, sighs, and says, "eh...that's an okay slice.."
Acts disappointed, pays me and runs off...
Sometimes I just want to strangle some people!!!

Don't fret over someone not appreciating a kickass slice like that. He was at least polite. Unlike some people who will claim you've ruined thier weapons.
In that case, you keep thier weapon if you(or a friend) can make use of it, or you sell it to someone else, expensively. And only let theoriginal ownerbuy it for twice your asking price.

/sigh, if people would only realise the HUGE increse in DPS a speed slice brings the non speed capped weapon user.

The fact that we've all had to deal with these morons doesn't make it easier. Maybe they'll eventually let us choose the type of slice and then we won't have to hear this garbage. In fact, (if it happens) I'll probably charge at least 50% more for damage slices simply to make people literally pay for their stupidity.

i had a guy spit in my face one timecause he said i didnt give him something back, when in fact he was bugged and had to relog

I had one the other day that was pretty funny.
18% damage slice on a Corsec Scout Blaster... thing is, it had a pretty nice poison dot and good speed/accuracy/dodge mods on it. Sure, it wasn't my shining moment of slices, but I'm not the one that ran up to a busy Smuggler with it. The guy was so ticked off, he kept saying how I had ruined his weapon, was lying about being a Master Smuggler (I had the title up) and that he wouldn't pay my, and I quote "outrageous fee" of 5000 credits (it actually bounces between 3000, 5000 and free depending on my mood, whether I'm busy and the customer's attitude)
Well, by the time the ordeal was over, I had my first truely furious customer andI had myself a new Corsec Scout Blaster... sure, it's not the best weapon out there, but I figure I'll give it to a newbie or something some day.

I got tired of putting up with customer grief the other day and took down my Master Smuggler title. It won't go back up until we can actually SMUGGLE.
I have no desire to slice for idiots that;
1. Think that 4 speed slices in a row increases the chance of the next being damage,
2. Don't understand that we have NO control over the results,
3. Demand to know what the quality of my tools are,
And any of the other lame assness that I've been getting recently.
Is the intelligence level of the playerbase diminishing lately? Or have I become simply intollerant?
Anyway, I have a lot more room in my inventory for loot now that I don't carry slicing tools.

i have just recently started up the smuggler tree and now am at 0-2-0-0. slicing weapons i use a crate of cdef pistols or rifles to test. all ive had so far are mainly spd slices and a few dmg slices.
(not important to me cause mainly im going to be slicing the armor my alt weaponsmith charac makes not weapons)
but sounds to me like the guy deserved to lose his weapon. my main is a now speed capped swordsman and before he was capped i appreciated a speed sliced weapon as much as dmg sliced. until you are speed capped the dps output is always better with a spd sliced weapon and powerups can cover damage.
on another note i recently asked a master smuggler to make me a manufacturing schematic for flow analyzer nodes, (not realising the 25 crates of molecular clamps i have stashed in my house were already all i needed
) and he was very helpful. i really appreciated the schem kay'ia (or kayi'a my bad cant remember exact 
)

Trust me guys the fact that the guy knew that a smuggler could slice is increadible. Do not feal bad though I have heard worse as a smuggler and as a weaponsmith.
1. Can you slice this container and get me the force crystal inside? This guy kid you not was a jedi.
2. Can you slice my pet I want him to be stronger?
3. Can you slice the guns for my ship?
4. Are you a 12 point slicer. I almost smacked this guy.
5. Do you have F.S sliceing skill. I had someone ask me this a couple weeks ago. So has anyone here been spreading this story around?
6. Can you slice my cdef pistol. This guy was a master marksman. I took out one of my dh17s sliced it for him and handed that back. What a wonderful person I am I didnt even charge him for it he starts screaming that I robbed him.
7. Can you put this powerup on my gun too?
Weaponsmith retardedness.
1. Are you a weaponsmith? No I wear the title because it makes me feal big.
2. Can you make me a rantok sword? Reply sorry thats a loot weapon. Had a moron go nuts at me over this. Seeing as I would not make him one, and no matter how I told him where to get it. He still kept going nuts. Finally he decided to call me the B word. At that point someone else walked up and smacked him for me.
3. Some guy gave me grief over a presliced laser rifle costing 6k. Oh forgive me I should just give you all my creds while I am at it will that do. It was a 25percent slice too boot. Anything below 22 I throw out. He then gave me hell that my 35percent damage slice rifle going for 10k was way too expensive. Forgive me sir my 600 damage rifle costs too much.
4. If I buy this gun and do not like it can I bring it back.
5. I want my money back on this beam rifle. Sorry I clearly stated on the description its for decoration purposes only and nobody is certified for it. I am sure it will look wonderful in your hands or on a wall. You cheated me. Oh for pete sakes put it back on the vendor and learn to read before you buy.
6. Why didnt you buy x gun I put on your vendor. Lets see its worse then mine. Its condition is almost gone, and your chargeing me more for it then the replacement you bought from me.
Trust me the fact that the guy knew what you did is freaking amazeing. People are not getting dumber they were always dumb. Your dumb tolerance meter has just gone empty.

I would lose it there to, if you are planning on selling that weapon most likely it will be to someone who is already speedcapped, so a speed is a waste on that weapon. Now i was a m.smuggler for months, and im remastering it on an alt now, but still when i get a slice like 35% speed on a DXR6b made with +60somthing tissues 408 max pre slice i want to kill someone because instead of being able to sell that rifle at 600k as a minimum, il be lucky to sell it for 100k since a regular DXR6b turn out around that max without tissue so i totally understand the bothan in this case.

Its not our fault he went out and speed capped himself, its his and his alone.
