1. Make sliceditems unavalible for vendor sale
.

2. Place an NPC next toselect cantina's and criminal theme parksthat only smugglers(any lvl)can use to load spice into and any player can use to buy spice.

Now we have a slice market again because people will have to come to us for slices.

Thenon-vendor; vendor for spice is so smugglerscan still sell spice with out having to carry ton's of crates also by putting the NPC "dealer"next to selectcantina's and theme parkswe will attrack more impulse buyers. I feel with a spice re-vamp and these vendors our sales would go up. Newer smugglers could sell theweaker spices and they would sell because n00bs need all the help they can get and desperate high lvl players will buy them if high end spice is not there.I dont want a vendor I dont want to deal with one and Im sure Im not alone on that. This NPC "dealer" resolves the vendor issue giving us a place to sell spice while keeping the illegal aspec intact. Last point, if the NPC dealer/vendor has no spice it's like your local dealer hitting a dry spell.

Problem solved

Sounds good and rather easy to implement since it would basically be the bazaar terminal, only with less categories and a NPC skin.

Exactly!! They would also not be a part of the new vendor search system players, would have to go to and talk with the NPC if they want to buy spice. Since they are right outside the cantina's I cant see it being an issue...

Thing is you could still do that if ya wanted to, players in this new system would have to go to you for weapon slices. Who's to say you cant offer them a little "somtin-somtin" to boost their stats while usingtheir new slicedweapon.

While I'm not against putting stuff in cantinas, I find the priority should be in places that are obviously criminally oriented. Such as Jabbas Palace.

Works for me. Though I'd like to see the NPC down some dark out-of-the-way ally, not by the cantina.

This is similar to an idea I had come up with some time ago, but I suggested that the owners of Player City Cantinas be able to place vendors inside who were only able to sell spice.

This would bring in a little element of player Smuggling (Cantina owner orders spice for their vendor, Smuggler delivers, if the Smuggler is not the Cantina owner, of course) and gives another purpose for Player Cities and their Cantinas.

Sure place 'em where ever. My only thought on cantinas was avalablity so clients are encouraged to buy spice because its right there and many locations so as not to flood one vendor. However the NPC dealers could be anywhere... Jabba's, Black Sun, hotel's,etc....

I'd also wonder if your idea was to place them in every cantina... I think it would be more realistic to have maybe at most, 1 or 2 of those on a planet, in areas with a low chance of law enforcement.

I like the idea, especiallythepart aboutsliced gear can't be sold on any vendors at all. Personally, I don't do any bulk slicing for Smiths because they want me to give them a discount and I'm like, "Idon't enjoy bulkSlicing, why would I want to spend all my time doing it for less than normal? Plus, a majority of the Weapons and even more so Armor Vendors are already stocked with Sliced gear at an increased price, when I can just slice it myself for nothing.

I think having spice dealers in Cantinas is the best place to sell spice, I especially like the idea of them being in PC Cantinas. There definately isn't as large of animperial presence in Player Cities and seems the perfect place for shaddy dealings. Plus since the Cantinas in the Major Cities are ussually full, perhaps this would drive more players out to the Player Cities.

And the same NPC could act as the 'informant' telling players what smugglers were available and where...just like the search function does now. That way we could ditch our titles and still be found.
