Thread: No mention of Smuggler revamp in timeline

Haden Blackman interview, Thunderheart posted today. (Posted on Gamespot in July) (Close the first popup (ad), and then click on to stream the "Second Interview")
In this interview, Haden states that after the Jedi Revamp (completed) they will be releasing Jump to Lightspeed. As soon as they are finished with that, they will begin work on the Combat balance. Included was new information about a loot revamp, as well as the galactic civil war expansion. Note, he said expansion. Did he misspeak, or will we have to pay for content that should have been in the game to begin with? He stated that all three of these projects should be completed by "this time next year," or July of 2005.
No mention of the smuggler revamp in that timeline, but it still is possible that Smugglers could be fit into that realm. I hope we will take presidence over a loot revamp. I suppose it will all just depend upon how buggy Jump to Lightspeed is.

Hmm I thought he said combat revamp right after JTL and the GCW revamp by this time next year.

And you all seem surprised that we aren't even in the timeline. We never were in the timeline and never will be. That may seem cynical and it is but I mastered smuggler 09/03 and have given up hope forour profession being anything more than glorified slicers. just add this to the pile of promises made and not kept.

Folks, do you honestly think that the release of JTL, the combat revamp and the GCW revamp are going to consume all the time between now and this time next year? There is more to their development cycle than that. Much more.

A few recipies and maybe a special or two.. sure, they could squeeze that kind of "revamp" in, no problem.

I'm possitive you are going to get more than that. They haven't even whispered putting our revamp further on the backburner on the c-forum. They are still telling me right after the combat revamp. Normally I get a hint if something is going to go differently, I haven't heard anything like that yet.

LoL, we screwed the Empire with spices and illegal goods and they screw us with a revamp push back? Irony at it's best

Ahhh but then we have to consider the jedi spaceship revamp. then the re revamp of jedi. and the re re revamp of jedi. so umm yeah puts it about July 2005.
Srry for then NEG Waves but I honestly dont se love for any of my chars. Ranger or Smuggler.

I don't think this suggests we're not in line, I just think it suggests we're not considered to be important.
JtL and GCW affect everyone - but then so should contraband, commerce and smuggling....

Seriously, 100k creds says the jedi are gonna make a HUGE push to get the fighter that the jedi used in Episode 2
