Ok, i know that the6 of you are under a very strict NDA. However i'd like to know if there is some progress, if some changes do happen, if you're listened to...
In the limit of tour NDA can you say if things do move up there or if it's, like everything else, on pause while JTL lauches?
Above all, what i want to know is if the way things go now the combat balance will take 3 months or 3 years to occur. just to know when we can think about us and our dremt revamp (assuming we won't get delayed again).

Psst...there is no sandbox...it's all a myth...much like the Smuggler revamp...

Seriously. It's not even close yet. I don't look for them to start testing the Combat Revamp (ie. open the sandbox) until after JtL is live.
They've got enough on their plates already.

well i would have guessed that one week before launch, development could be done, they will have to put it in production and ship it won't they?

Sandbox Tester: "Hey, I'm in the sandbox, and TKA's are gonna get x, y, and z."
Populace:"WHAT? THAT'S BS! THEY CAN'T DO THAT! I'M GOING TO BURN DOWN THEIR HOUSE AND SKULL-F%$% THEIR PETS!"
Devs: "Actually we've changed that."
Populace: "YER G$%D^*$# RIGHT YOU DID! STUPID DEVS!!"

sorry i happen to sometimes think with common sense and eventually industrial experience.
But i guess it doesn't work as soon as you involve SOE in the equation.

The sandbox is a special server on which only 5 or 6 players form each profession will make some active testing and give some feedback about the combat balance. These players have been selected by each correspondant in their profession.

Yep. That's it in a nutshell. We'll be testing the combat balance changes when they want to start working on them.

that's the part beginning with "when" that really cause me some worrying, "when" is a word to be taken with great care when you talk about SOE developpment... do you remember when they promised a revamp, when they promised some documents, when they promised to come back tomorrow?
