Heh. Of course I do! Heck I remember when there were going to be three factions, and PvP safe zones, zones of contention, and free-for-all zones, and Raph's old system of self-policing of PK's (damned if I can remember the name of it though...curse my lack of braincells). Outcast system I believe it was called.

Heh. You laugh. Remember the Imperial Scanning fight, where everyone jumped down our throats for something that wasn't true? They heard that the Scanning thing would do something they didn't like which wasn't the case and had a dumb idea for a fix, which the dev's caved into for no apparent reason...I can't remember what exactly it was that triggered the whole debacle though, damn my lack of braincells.

LOL! Not tonight. Sadly. What was that stupid idiotic misconception, Caylin that had everyone so wound up? It used to drive EN absolutely batty...

Dang there have been so many I couldn't even begin to speculate on which one you are referring to. Lol.
Now the 'crackdown' had people wondering about a ton of things, but whether that is the instance you are thinking of I don't know.

It was some part of the crackdown...some random profession started complaining because they thought of some random ridiculous scenario that would suck for PvP'ers, or something, and it wasn't true to begin with was the punchline.

You misunderstand the cause of my laughter... think Homer.
"It's funny because it's true, tee hee hee."
All sanity out the window, all I have left is the option to laugh or cry.

*would so comment on the last statement, but can't because of the JtL NDA*
BTW...there isn't an NDA for the combat sandbox (yet), or if there is, I haven't seen one. *checks his mail to make sure*. But even without it, we still couldn't tell you what we don't know. And right now, we just don't know.
