You use Han Solo quotes in the game, and often times you use them without even thinking about it.
for example, a week ago my friend and I were cruising around in my y-wing when we get attacked by a group of three teir 5 TIE oppressors. So I immediately started a hyperspace jump, then I used the /iff command and boostered away, just as the TIE's resume their attack, we make the jump to hyperspace. Once we arrive over corellia, the first thing I say is "Well, you can forget about your troubles with those Imperial slugs, I told you I'd lose 'em." 
That whole thing felt very star-warsy to me /shrug

I can honestly say I've never used a Han Solo quote in the game. On the forums a few times...sure...
But, I'm a bigger fan of Talon Karrde than I am of Han Solo...*shrug*...and I just don't see Han as the be-all-end-all of Smugglers...
I would actually say that you know you're a Smuggler at heart if you've stuck with this profession for over a year despite the fact that it's been completely ignored...
That's not a slight against those who have been Smugglers for less time. And it's certainly not a slight against some long-time Smugglers who have left the profession or the game (everybody has a breaking point). It's just a fact...

I don't remember any specific instances where I've quoted Han (I do know that I have though)... but just the other day I started screaming at the stormtrooper who was scanning me, "For the millionth time, THESE AREN'T THE DROIDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!!!"

I've never purposefully quoted Han, but in responce to someone talking about getting ready for a large group of NPCs, I did say: "Bring it on!" to which,a friend of mine replied "I prefer a fair fight to all this sneakin' around." I said, "Screw the fair fight, just bring it on."
I prefer to be my own kind of Smuggler, not a Solo Clone.
But, in JtLS beta, a friend of mind made herself a character that looked just like Leia(more than the devs could) in the Cloud City dress. Her character was appropriately named Lea. She showed up and I decided a quote was in order.
"Hello, what have we here?"

See here's a little more anti-Solo sentiment, sort of related to a post I made a few weeks back. What's wrong with modeling a character a little after Han? He's one of maybe 5 or 6 developed smugglercharacters in the SW Universe... Han friggin' rules. I will hear no one bad mouth him. Han's THE MAN, and that's fact. He ALWAYS gets out of the jams he gets himself into. Why would no one want that? =)

mmm. lets see i call most female entertainers Sweethart, tho that probably makes me more of a scoundral than a solo clone. I have on occassion before a major encounter or battle attempted to sneak around and flank the enemie only to say "hey, its me" along with a cheeky grin hehe. The one qoute i wanna use, make that 2 are all from a new hope in the detention centre. the first being when hes talking to the imperial over the comm and says "everythings fine up here thank you.....how are you" cracks me up everytime. The second is before they dive into the trash compactor to liea "keep the brains sweetheart".
man you could go on forever lol.

I have nothing against Han, he kicks major asѕ.
I just can't understand why people in this game have to replicate a character instead of making thier own who can have the same qualities. You don't have to be the exact same thing is my point. But it seems the devs try to make things that way. Look at the YT-1300 in the game. See that big dish on top of it? Just like the Millenium Falcon. The thing is, no stock YT-1300 ever came like that.
