I just can't understand why people in this game have to replicate a character instead of making thier own who can have the same qualities. You don't have to be the exact same thing is my point. But it seems the devs try to make things that way. Look at the YT-1300 in the game. See that big dish on top of it? Just like the Millenium Falcon. The thing is, no stock YT-1300 ever came like that.
true, they designed the game yt-1300 mor like the Falcon than the actual YT. and I was disappointed in that. The dish, one of the gun turrets, the missile launchers, and the forward firing guns (although I understand those are not on th YT) were all installed by Han in Shug Ninx's spacebarn on Nar Shadaa(?) i think

realy you got it all wrong your realy a smuggler at heart if IN REAL LIFE you use smuggler quotes. like if something is funny and is gooing your way you go
"HOOO HOOO HOOO " like jabba
or you see a HOT girl or guy (opisite of what ever you are other wise its jsut sick)
"hello what have we here" lando
or you bring a case of beer to a party that jsut ran out
"im here to rescrew you" luke lol i know i know
or a buddy of yours farts
"what a wonderful smell you discovered" han
or something goes wrong that you had no control over
"its not my fault" han, lando, others?
or your girlfriend says "i love you" and your reply is
"i know" Han

Thats definately true, and I agree with you. but when you think about it, i would think that any smuggler in swg was intrigued by the profession because of Han's role in the films. the idea of being your own rogue/scoundrel and living outside the law appeals to us initially because of Han i think. whether you like Karrde or Ninx or some other smuggler more, Han was your first glimpse into what a star wars smuggler could be. (and he was a dang good one too, read the books
) and it's our hope that the swg smuggler will eventually become what it should be that keeps us hanging on to this proff
just more thoughts and opinions...

See here's a little more anti-Solo sentiment, sort of related to a post I made a few weeks back. What's wrong with modeling a character a little after Han? He's one of maybe 5 or 6 developed smugglercharacters in the SW Universe... Han friggin' rules. I will hear no one bad mouth him. Han's THE MAN, and that's fact. He ALWAYS gets out of the jams he gets himself into. Why would no one want that? =)
Um, he didn't get himself out of that little carbonite jam

Technically, he did get himself in by getting in trouble with Jabba.
On the othe hand, he did get himself out by making friends with Luke, Leia, andthe Rebel Alliance. ![]()
A Smuggler's friends are sometimes his greatest asset.

I'll admit Han's smooth, but he's not Lando smooth.

Initially, I made Obed to be a mix of Lando and Han with a leaning toward Lando. I'm all about the Han quotes (or other quotes) ingame.
And, yep, I've been a smuggler for over a year now. It's coming up on a year for being master in a couple of months... It took me a while to become a master. I'd reroll Obed before dropping smuggler.

dont recall using one in game but ive used them in RL. Was up on a roof taking a photocell apart and touched a hot wire to ground and it made a very loud pop and some pretty lights . My coworker shouted up asking me what happened and in my best Han voice I said " Um had a slight weapons malfunction" I thought it was funny , he didnt get it.
