So I leave my den this morning and spot spot no less the 4 imperial patrols standing around in their firing squad line. I quietly slip back into the den an call my trusted driods out and put all my slicing gear and equipment in his hidden compartment.
I then remove my armor and and weapons and place them in another driod then exit the house again on my way to the shuttle pad.
Sure enough Captain Lightstrider comes running up with 10 of his pals including 2 dresssed in back with stripes on their arms.
They force me out of my AV-21 and begin to search me after a few moments the good Captain is disapointed to tell me that I am free to go.
I get to the starport and make my delivery. There I meet up with a Doctor friend of mine who gives me some medical courage and we seek out a musican and a dancer to play us some encouraging music.
We strap on our armor grab, our improved beyond Imperial standard weapons and on a lark each carry a full case of my finest Muon Gold.
We return to my home town to vist my friend the Captain sure enough he races over to see what we have.
After only a moment he detects the spice and all hell breaks lose the 2 men in black begin firing far to acurratly for my tastes and cause me to bleed all over my nice armor The other Imperials dont not match for firepower but with these two keeping me surpressed I am force into a fighting withdrawl through the center of town while the good doctor is force to store his power hammer and flee to the safety of a nearby town with little love for the Empire.
Thinking fast I duck around the corner and stumble to the ground rolling over to play dead to give my self a moment to recover. The 2 heavy troopers chase after the doc and give me the time I need to recover then launch an attack on the remaining less talented fellows who I manage to surprise in a hail of blaster fire that takes them down just before one of the 2 heavy troopers returns.
In an epic pistol duel over the rest of the town I manage to beat the guyafter 15 minutes just in time to have his friend return to see him die. So the dance begins again with me ducking around houses and parks as he blasts away at me and I get off well timed bursts to slowly wear down his armor. He too falls to my pistol and now I have time to check the loot. 3000 Credits hmm they are paying these new guys well I will have to continue to be careful in the future.
OOC I am very pleased with the improved crack down so far the Novatroopers are tough enough to be a real threat so you just dont attack them on a whim. I am hoping the fact that I passed the scan when unarmed and failed the scan whenwearing my sliced armor and weapons was not a fluke. Over all the best PVE I have hadnot onboardthe corvette in months.

Outstanding job, not only on the story line of thinking but your combat skill as well!!! ***** star's for you my friend. On a side note I wonder if your "transport" style works most of the time/some time or you just got lucky.... something interesting to test out in more detale.

Hmm.. it might still need a little tweaking. As I was off dying (well, feigning until I could escape) against krayts today (man, I forget sometimes just how useless pistols are against those things), I drove up to the south side of Bestine and, in the span of about 150-200M, ran through approximately 6 squads of Stormies. Man, did they ever have a tight lid on crime in that place.

Yeah. Hiding things in droids automatically avoids the scans, which is another of the five million reasons we were opposed to the all too quick roll out of the Crackdown.
