FD maybe be nerfed but is seem the chaging to Faction Perks in 13.1 may make us more money. They have doubled the cost of all faction perks in pub !3.1 so it looks like smugglers will have more buisness in buying FP more than ever

Other way of looking at it is that this more encorages guilds to set up faction bot alts as the costs of ebay credits used on bases will out weigh the extra line sub..... synacal I know..... but I know of at least 2 guilds that have already made just that decision.

Ahh well, lets wait and see, I could be wrong and this could be the best thing since sliced bread.

Good for the faction guys, but the neutrals get the shaft all the way.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

That was on test center...

And that was because there was no COA bonus there.

Let's see the prices after the servers come back online...

For me, if faction stuff prices are doubled, it's a bad thing for one aspect : credit price will be doubled too....
How to explain someone you have to pay 3M for a full ST armor when you were selling it for only 1.5 M before?

Nothing doubled in price.

If you're Imperial, you're no longer seeing the 30% "loser" discount. That would attribute to why you're seeing higher prices.

Matter of fact, PvE bases got cheaper.

And the new PvP bases that were introduced cost 2x the price of the same PvE base.

So, don't panic people...everything is as it should be.

My concern was that as a zabrak Imperial Col. Master Smuggler, I still wasn't able to gather enough FPs to purchase the high-end items -- and non-smugglers could get a better price for perks. Sure, I can sell FPs, but I'm going to need to find another smuggler to buy perks myself.

No offence...but...

Them's the breaks.

Oh, I understand and accept the discrimination penalty and have been tempted to start-over as human [shudder]. I was simply questioning the math that makes it impossible to purchase items. Why have a max-price greater than most players can't even accumulate?

Because, in theory, the Empire wouldn't allow aliens to control such things. There are a FEW exceptions...like Thrawn. But, even he didn't come into possession of any "perks" of power until long after the Emperor was gone. Prior to his coming back, the Emperor had exiled him to the Unknown Regions with a taskforce of middle-class ships.

Apparently he didn't rate enough Imperial FP to sport one of the nice Destroyers...

Wait....what perks are you speaking of? Our guild founder is a master smuggler, imp colonel and a zabrak, and he has no trouble buying perks, though they are more expensive.
